Most Useless Languages to Learn?

Now I'm not saying your country is useless I'm just saying the language is.
English is more spread than hindi so therefor more useful.
Also for the 156th time I DID NOT SAY SPANISH WAS USELESS!!!!

Some may say Latin is useless, but it is very useful in understanding other languages, translating the bible, and learning Roman history

Only bad thing about it is that the language itself is dead.

 

Old Prussian, an extinct language spoken by the true Prussians in the Baltics before the Teutons conquered them. I think there is only 200 people who actually speak it. Anyways no language is useless except for extinct languages (except latin) and maybe Maltese (the only Arabic language that uses the latin alphebet).

 

I would have to say Maori, it's a dieing language even in its own country.

I'm surprised they don't have any Asian languages. With all those Chinese farmers you'd expect their own forum lol.

 

The most useless language is probably American.

 

All language is useless, because language fails to convey all the meaning of the speaker. You have to watch the body language to get the full meaning of a conversation. This is pointless to argue over anyways because you are going to offend someone one way or another.

 

This is grave dug, and there is no such thing as American language lol :huh: :laugh: I wouldn't say any language is completely useless. Could you imagine being able to go any where in the world and understand the native people where ever you go? That would be pretty cool, and save so much time.

 

Latin, would be up there with the most useless language currently. Outside of that, you have all these different language spoken in countries in Africa, that will never go beyond their own borders.

Also, people are assuming just because it's spoken by many that it is important. Mandarin may be the most spoken language in the world, but English is the "Language of Business". Knowing Mandarin if your working over in China may give you a heads up, but not knowing it honestly isn't going to hurt you that much since they're taught english anyway.

By this logic, the telephone, and contact over the internet, or mail, or any type of conversation is useless if you cant see the person.

 

I am fairly certain you know nothing of language, Latin is universal in that all law, science, medical, theological, and just everyday actions include a huge amount of Latin. Any scholarly field of study require knowledge of Latin terms, and going even further Greek terms. Just because it isn't an active mother tongue doesn't mean that it is a useless language. If a language is useless it is probably the Germanic runes, only Nazis use them now.

 

I think Danish and German is some of the most useless languages.
Why? English is better, even tho i am from Denmark.

We seriously need an all in one language, wich everyone understands
