Fagex is Fag

Well i'm trying to recover my 2005 account with a yoyo and scythe. But these assholes are telling me this. How am i suppose to remember the password to a fucking 2005 account thats been inactive that long?

are there any methods to get it back? All i'm getting wrong is the passwords.

If your IP hasn't changed they should give it to you. But yes, Fagex is fag.

 

When I came back to RS in June, I got my main char back from my brother. I wanted to try and recover my old zerker from 2005 though and I sent off an appeal and it was successful, with me only remembering ONE of the previous passwords (one of the more recent ones too, the last one the account had before I gave it away).

I think the information that helped me recover the account was that I had all the details about its original membership, the ISP, the address details for all the credit card payments etc. I filled out everything I could and sent off all the extra payment info I could think of, including the address of the friend who I had given the account to when I quit, and within 10 minutes I had a message in my inbox with a new password to the account.

Passwords are very important, but there is lots of other info you can use to recover it. I would think passwords are far less important than actual addresses and payment details (considering passwords can be forgotten with time, whereas these details stick with you forever).

 

Just keep doing it.
I had the same problem and I kept doing it and I eventually got my account back (took my three tries) it must get reviewed by different people in Jagex.

 

Try putting your name as the password, it's a possibility you used that, or if you have passwords that you've used for a long time for other websites.

I've found that you should recover accounts in the morning. I had to do the same thing for my 7 year old account. It took many tries

Also, fill up the "other" section with info such as the bank of your first card, all the dates you moved, all the IPs you've used.

 

You should try contacting Jagex directly. Otherwise, keep trying it, because it's such an old account they're gonna be a little more stricter. However, if you're providing all the information necessary, they should eventually accept it.

Try putting things like this where it asks for the passwords:

"I forgot it"

"Cant Remember"

If you have moved, mention your previous I.P's.
Its usually the creation details, and IP's they are looking for

 

I've gotten accounts back from just having the same ip

 

Jagex wants the previous passwords, if you don't have them then their not going to give your account back.

Just try and think about what passwords you might have used.

 

That sucks, was it ever a member etc? don't foreget your ISP when the account was created. thats how i recovered a 2003 account i made and put on shelf.
