How Do I Get Started on Sythe?

Hey guys, so I'm looking to buy anywhere from 500-1B in RSGP and I found Sythe.com. The prices here are obviously phenomenally better than gold4fun.com (the most reliable place I've found) and other gold websites, but it seems like it's really hard to get into trading here. I'm only looking to do a one time trade, and it seems like people require the upwards of 100 vouches before they are willing to trade anyone.

I see all this spout about PlayerAuctions, Western Union, etc., and I'm not sure what people mean by that. I've been to PA, but I don't see how it's any safer than just a regular PayPal trade. (I have an unverified PayPal account by the way. I'm 18 and my dad checks my bank daily, so I'd rather not let him know that I'm buying virtual goods with my money.) Is it necessary to have a verified PayPal account to do trades here?

Does anyone have any recommendations as to how I could buy the GP or could refer me to a guide to getting started on Sythe? How much can I expect to get 1B for here? I'd also prefer to do like 5-10 100-200M trades at a time, rather than all at once (if I have to go first). Also, what's a middle man and how much does it cost?

 

You ask a lot of questions but I'll try my best to break it down for ya

PlayerAuctions acts as a MM in terms of Money transfer, a big problem with accepting Paypal directly from one account to another is chargebacks/disputes/unauthorized claim. Pretty much people scamming the money transfer aspect of Gold buying/selling.

PlayerAuctions acts as a middleman, meaning the RSGP buyer pays PA, and then PA pays the seller. The 10% fee is minimal compared to the risk of you losing 100% of the payment if you accept $$$ directly from a buyer and they reverse the payment.

Getting started on Sythe isn't too bad, there's a multitude of [Official] Middlemen you can use to monitor your trade if you don't trust the other party to go first, and vice versa.

Start out by trading with trusted users or using MM and gradually you'll begin to garner trust and reputation with your trade history.

Anywhere from $380-$550 is what you should expect to be paying for 1B RSGP, it depends who you're buying from, and the payment method you use. (i.e. PA = higher cost, WU/Mail = lower cost)

My personal rule of thumb is "all or nothing"

If I trust the other party with the entire trade amount with me going first, then I'll do so. If I don't, then I'll snag a trusted MM or Official Middleman to monitor the trade.

Middlemen usually hold one part of the trade (RSGP/Account/$$$) while the two parties exchange the other half of the trade, once that's been verified, then the Middlemen hands over the half he's holding, resulting in a scam-free trade (Unless the MM scams)

Generally, Middlemen that aren't official are free of charge, and in fact there are Official Middlemen that are free of charge as well (But you'll need a big trade if you wanna use them)

I noticed that on PA, there are people who are already selling X amount of gold. Is it safe to buy straight off of Player Auctions, or are those all people on Sythe who organize a trade and then list it on PA?

It would be more wise to buy from someone here and have them link you to their PA link. You never know what the other player has under his sleeves. If they are from Sythe, you can check their vouches and even report them for suspicious activity and such. There's also feedback in PA but choosing a sythe seller would be best for you, obviously a trusted one.
