As a Canadian, I'm curious to know what others think of us on the international scale. I've seen stereotypes being tossed around by Americans mainly in South Park and such, but then I've met a couple Americans who were actually extremely jealous of us and even wished they could live here.

Anyway, when Canada is mentioned in conversation, what's the first thing that comes to mind? What do you think of our country, politically, economically, culturally...?

Erm... I've been told you guys talk like donkeys. However, I've had the pleasure of talking to a few Canadians over Black Ops/Xbox Live and they are some chill people. I love the fact that you guys have free health care and the system with education. I would probably want to live in Canada permanently if the chance arose.

I don't have too many thoughts about Canada but I really don't have a problem with the country or the people.

I love Canada. I've been there several times and most people there are real friendly. If I could live anywhere, it would probably be Vancouver.

Honestly for me especially being a Floridian Canada is just well... there. I don't give it much thought however whenever I think of hockey I immediately think of Canada as well. I have never been there but when I imagine Canada as a whole I imagine lots of snow and for some reason a fortress like structure I saw in a textbook long ago, I think it was in Quebec.

Economic wise I imagine it to be a lot like the states with Walmart's and McDonald's at almost every street corner. Although I do know that it functions much differently and is more "socialized" than the United States'.

Overall Canada seems like a more liberal and enjoyable place to live in at times, so I guess the way I perceive Canada is positive.

I've heard great things about Canada. Only bad thing I've heard is that Canadians don't contribute to the world or something like that. I'd have to say that's bullshit though.

I live there. Nothing special, basically less populated version of America.
Also we aren't as rude to people in general.

If you ever go to Toronto, don't use that as an example of Canada. The people there are mostly non-canadian. lol

I really wish I lived in Canada. I've considered working towards citizenship there.

Here's what comes to mind when I think of Canada:
North America
Snow
Hockey
French
Cold
Caucasian
Police force using clubs while riding a horse
Lenient laws

I have a few online friends that live up there, they make it sound pretty nice i'm considering maybe taking a vacation/living up their in my future.

Lol @ their military though.
