I've had multiple part-time jobs at internet cafes. Some used computers with a brand, while others used custom built PC's.

The ones with the brand usually were in a far better shape.

Maybe a custom built CAN be better if you're looking for at the right places and are willing to spent a decent amount of money on it.
But I've seen branded ones last longer, so I will stick to them.

There's nothing wrong with preferring a prebuilt, but honestly your reasoning doesn't really make a lot of sense from my perspective as a builder. Computers in internet cafes get pretty beat up no matter who makes them. Plus I really doubt you have exact ages on those PCs, so even at that it's hard to say definitively which one is better. However, my bet is on higher quality parts (namely things like motherboard, RAM, PSU, etc) with better warranties being the winner in terms of longevity.

I kind of feel like we're just going back and forth endlessly with neither person really making headway so I'll end my part of this discussion with that.

You asked questions, I answered them.

There were also a couple of cafes, which used both customs and prebuilt.
Customs were mainly for hardcore fps gaming, while the prebuilt were used for popular RPG's and/or starcraft, which is probably still the most played game in my country.

The customs probably were never meant to last for more than 2~3 years as like I said before, computer technologies double in less than a year. Thus, they were always upgraded/replaced with better specs and were built upon cheap parts, which will probably only last that long.

From what I've seen, the newest prebuilts were 2008/2009 products. however, they still ran the same games (old.) like the customs ran them.

I'll end my part of the discussion here, too

As far as a mouse, and keyboard go, I would really recommend any Razer product. Depending on how seriously you play WoW, what i have will most likely be the best set-up for you (I'm a heavy PvPer).

    Mouse:
    Razer Naga
19 button mouse, though the page only says 17.. ( 1-12 on the side, Mouse button 1 & 2 top left, your normal right and left click, wheel scroll up,down, and press able wheel ).
Took me maybe a week to get used to, but its awesome not having to press 1-= on the keyboard.

    Keyboard:
    Razer Lycosa
Light-up keys, you can have it show just WASD or everything ( I play in the dark generally ).
Can control audio programs from the top left of the keyboard by touch (Pause/Play/Next/Previous/Volume+/Volume-/Change keyboard lighting)
Keys are coded with kind of a rubbery feel, good, non-slick, and there's the perfect amount of space between the keys; at least for me.

Overall Razer just has really high-quality stuff, not really rivaled by anyone as far as computer gaming equipment goes.

A mouyse I recommend would be the MX518, it's like $40 and excellent(I just got one switched over from generic)

keyboard doesn't matter as much, I'm still using a $10 microsoft one.

Everything looks good except I'd personally drop down the HDD to a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s drive (roughly $55). It's a great quality drive (not quite as high as the WD Caviar Black, but still nice) and then use the money you save on a higher quality PSU from like Corsair, OCZ, Silverstone, Antec or similar. PSUs are probably one of the most important parts in your system because basically if it dies it very well could take out the rest of your system with it. So don't go cheap on a PSU :)

Another thing - that heatsink is out of stock. Unless you're going to be doing some really serious overclocking, a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ will do just fine. It will probably easily get that chip to around 4.2GHz stable and cool, which is all you really need. Anything more than that is just bragging rights/couple extra points on certain benchmarks tbh. No tangible benefits that I can see after having had my chip at 4.8GHz vs what I use now, 4.2GHz.

The RAM is unnecessary as well unless you intend to do bot farming. 8GB is more than enough for video editing, gaming, general tasks, etc. Also having more modules can impact your overclocking capability pretty severely so if you don't intend on actually using the RAM I'd go for a 8GB (2x4GB) kit. I swear by Corsair RAM personally, but G.SKILL is a pretty nice brand.

As for mouse/kb. If you just play FPS games, get a Razer DeathAdder (5 buttons total). If you play MMO games, get the slightly more expensive Razer Naga (17 buttons IIRC). For keyboards I would strongly recommend against Razer unless you get one of the really high end ones. The inexpensive keyboards all have REALLY shitty reviews and apparently don't last very long. Logitech has always been my preferred keyboard manufacturer, though if you can foot the bill I'd say buy the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. Keyboards are relatively important depending on if you need a lot of macros or if you like mechanical keyboards, so don't go cheap but don't spend a lot of money for features you won't use.

The 560 you suggested as compared to the one I suggested will give you approximately a 20% loss in performance. They're both nice cards though. If you want to go with a 560 though, I would get the Ti. With that you're looking at around 10% performance loss as compared to the one I suggested. If cost is an issue, go for it. The 560 Ti is a sturdy card.
