Thinking back to older times...

Have you ever thought back to when RS2 first started and RSC was still popular... your old "best friends" in the game that you have no contact with now... the ones you trusted with everything, shared masks, santas, accounts, etc...

It sucks not knowing them anymore, and you wonder what the fuck they're doing in their life right now, and if they even remember you, probably not though.

well i have a friend that i sometimes talk to and i kept it touch, i could say its kinda weird since its a guy i never met but i feel like a know him very well (skyped, teamspeak, clans and such) i mean its a guy i spent numerous hours with and yes the fact i do know him and still talk to him is pretty weird

 

Yeah, I have one friend that goes on like once a month that I've known on RS for a couple years. I could trust him with anything, I used to have him added on Myspace when Myspace was cool lol

 

back in 05 i used to chat alot to people. Now i just pk Hehe

 

When RS2 was released RSC was a ghost town...Only reason I switched.

Oh well, I love the bossing experiences in today's RS so I guess gameplay experience has improved in that regard.

 

I met a Runescape girl in real life lol.. And I'm still talking to some friends.

 

RSC pking/dueling was the shit though... really miss those days.

Was she hot? lol

 

Nah, she was just nice and funny. ^^

 

All the time man, all the time. ALL and i mean ALL my old rs friends are gone and I wish I still new them. But oh well.

I thought about that all the time man. I would always keep them on my friends list just in case they ever logged in again. But they don't =[

 

one of my oldest rs friends, one I met when i was like lvl 5 and kept in touch with as we both got nearly maxed, took a break and then didn't remember me at all when they came back... was added that whole time.

 

Had a good few but i dont care or miss them because its through the internet.

 

Well.. Of course i miss the old times were my in real life friends still played, however this is multiple years ago, and people changes.

Tho for only like 2-3 weeks ago, i finally got my old email back, wich were hacked, and found a great friend, i havent spoken to in about 2 years.
He is one of the few i trust, without any doubts, and he is also very friendly.

He reminds me of, the good old times back in RSC.

But overall, i miss the old times, but its memories now, and lets hope our future will be as good, as our memories are.

 

I never trusted anyone, ever. I was too scared to lose my hardly earned items.

I have a friend who I've known since probably 05. I met him shortly after classic became members-only. We're pretty close, he's actually bought me members and we text sometimes. He's a great guy.

I miss when there were more people like that. RSC was much more focused on interaction than RS2 ever was. Nowadays, you run around doing your own thing in an extremely populated world, but it's still almost like you're playing by yourself with a bunch of computer players.

 

i still keep in contact with some people i've known since 2001, i rarely add people to friends list.

 

Not anyone from RS, just because i never took it seriously. However, games like WoW, in which i was in Ventrilo/TeamSpeak a lot for bosses/pvp or just general guild chatter, yea i keep up with them. I have a few #'s still, and we text maybe a few times a week.

 

I feel the same. 06. My best rs time no doubt.
