Za/zg que time

Is it just me, or whenever I que, it takes 22 minutes-ish of average time, and I'm just not willing to wait that long, while Heroic takes less time.

What's going on? Is it just my realm? That's not possible since people from all the realms go into the finder. Maybe more people prefer to do Heroics? Anyone care to tell me why?

That's the normal for ZA/ZG queues for DPS. Heroics will take less time, since there is considerably less DPS queuing for normals heroics (and they are about 2-3 times as quick).

 

If your a class that CAN tank, do it. My que time for anything in prot spec is nearly instant. You can get your weekly cap done quickly, though i suppose if your not a tank class, or you really hate tanking that much that's not possible for you.

A few people on my server pay to que with a tank, then the tank just leaves, or they do it with a guildy and the guildy does the same.

 

Tanks get insta que, I played hpally was getting either insta que or 1-3 min.

 

Que tank or healer They get insta-ques. I'd much rather tank its way easier and more fun.

 

You can't do this method anymore (paying tanks for a queue). This was hotfixed a few months ago so that if you queue up with a tank or healer, and they leave, you will automatically be booted from the group.

 

It's blizzard's way of making people want to roll tanks and healers. Yeah 20-30 minutes is average wait time for dps on most realms (including my own). And also, not EVERY realm queues up with you, only those from your battlegroup http://www.wowwiki.com/Battlegroup
