+1. Intel have been in lead since the core2's came out if I'm not mistaken.

This thread is a joke. Intel is a powerhorse of amazing products, if money isn't an issue.

Personally Intel, I have used them for a long time and they have never lead me astray. I have heard some good things about AMD though.

Are you trollin? Is that processor even overclockable? I know it has a turbo but I had no idea it could overclock. Even so a 100% increase in speed seems HIGHLY unlikely and you running games at max settings at anything higher than like 800x600 seems even more unlikely. Either that or the most demanding game you play is RS @ 720p or something lol.

Just saw this post. Yeah, that's unfortunately true. Everybody ignores the benchmarks on similarly priced processors and tries to compare like a Phenom II X4 965 to a 990X, which isn't really fair at all. I mean I can go on and on and spit out facts here and there to support my position that Intel is superior but I will just be quoted by a person who has an AMD system wanting to reassure their purchase followed by illegitimate reasoning/comparisons.
