Are you serious N4N0? This is the biggest piece of bull shit I've ever seen. The way you posted in his thread and spoke in IRC is disgusting. To be quite honest, after your ban I would have never traded with you ever again, especially not a 750m trade when you force him to go first. I never agreed with you getting moderator back, and I think that this just affected my opinion even more.

Not sure if negative feedback is allowed in here, but that above is my two cents.

 

Although a little brash...being a frequent visitor of the RSGP Buying/Selling sections of the Runescape Market I too am quite suspicious of Milhouse's buying prices.

Viou, R2, Busta, Arcus, KMJT, Oxodium, RsProd, and plenty of other gold sellers offer prices considerably less then $0.50/M, if Milhouse wanted RSGP so badly, why wouldn't he go to one of them for RSGP and save $50-$100 per Bil as well as hours of time waiting for sellers? Imo it doesn't add up.

OT: RaS section is ridiculously clean, mad props to everyone involved, keep up the good work!

 

I've been buying/selling gold for $0.50/m the past few months (in small amounts). My account has also been logged into all over Eastern Canada and United States. That and I would never go first for such a big amount to N4n0, unless we did small increments.

Based on N4n0's logic, I should receive a trade with caution, which makes no sense to me.

Sorry if my first post was harsh, it's just very dumb in my opinion.

 

I think he received a TWC because he wouldn't use any other OMM, or go first to anybody, even when oxodium asked him if he would trade with him.

 

His post and IRC conversation with Milhouse was very unprofessional threatening him with a trade with caution nonetheless.

It was my understanding that he was willing to use an OMM.

 

I don't know the complete story on N4n0 giving milhouse a TwC, but from what I've seen it's because he didn't go first to you.

Honestly, that's just immature. If someone doesn't want to go first to you, ignore them and move on. Don't give them a TwC -_-.

If that's not the full story, disregard this post.

To those of you commenting on my actions towards Milhouse:

I admit, my actions were rash and uncalled for. I'll be the first to admit that I reacted unprofessionally, but I refuse to admit that my instinct is wrong with him. Something isn't legit with him, and my instinct has yet to steer me in the wrong direction.

I offered to use ANY other OMM/MM/Staff member to MM a trade between him and I, and yet he still refused. Other "Trusted" members also stepped forward and offered to trade with him too. They were turned down as well. If you ask me, he's up to no good. If and when he shows (what I feel are) his true colors.... Are yet to be seen. Judge me as you will, but we'll see what happens.

 

I'm also with n4n0 on this, I queried milhouse, and he informed me he would not go first to me, or use any other mm/omm/staff member, or go first to anyone else on sythe.
His price is suspicious enough, It'll only be a matter of time before he scams big, and takes away more from the sythe community.

IMO he deserves a TwC.

To keep this on topic, amazing work to all the active mods, scammer section is virtually clean.

 

Although the way n4n0 handled it was pretty unprofessional he was right in what he did. Milhouse was acting very shady, as he always does, and definitely deserved a TwC. Now if it were a ban it'd be a different story, but its just a TwC and is fairly given.

Hate to kill the suspense, but for now, I don't intend to return as an admin. There's really no urgency for one though; Giverny and Govind have both been doing an amazing job.

I'll say that while I did initially think that Sin666 should be promoted to Admin to fill the gap, after some thought, I've decided that I agree with her: we don't need another admin at the moment.

Perhaps this idea that a minimum of five administrators is necessary for smooth running of the site has become cemented in your minds, but it is not.

As stated above, one of the most revolutionary and much-needed changes to staff management was implemented at the end of September, and just a week earlier, changes were made which allowed for far more efficient administration of the site. Even more recently, we've added more efficient methods of investigating potential ban evaders. I would say that Giverny, Matthew and I have accomplished more in the last 10 days than any other team of administrators has in the last few years.

 

It's always nice to have people with AdminCP perms, though... Faster dealing with IP Bans, TWCs, UT requests, etc.

 

I'm seeing much more admin activity at the moment, which is great. I hope everything can be dealt at time.

 

I don't really see Govind that much at all to be quite honest..

 

Ahh well its totally upto you; nice to see you off hidden mode though! :L
