Extremely good, I really love the colouring and all the smudging going on, without a doubt this is the best entry so far!

Screw you surj haha. You disappear for god knows how long, and reappear with a vengeance.

Depth is a little messed at times though - the top left is perfect, but then the over-sharpening and texture on the far right and bottom left throws it all out a little. I also think it would benefit the piece if the smudging on the right arm was removed and instead had something overlapping it.
The splatter clipping mask on the left side of the shawl is cut a bit shoddily as well...
The text is very very well done, but it seems to be a pretty heavy lightsource, so possible put a bit more of an orange hue/glow around it?

- Sharpness and LQ is a problem
- her face is a weak focal, the sharp little red line directly above the g in the text "smudge" is a secondary focal that after a while your eyes just get led to
- the text goes completely against the flow and is poopy
- the clipping mask of the splatter brush/pentooled odd shapes just looks like a cumstain and takes away from compo
- cyan in top left corner is too saturated, takes away from quality again
- colours don't really go, using every colour rather than a palette is gay surj, you know that
+ overall compo is banging
+ textures/effects are banging
+ blending is banging (apart from cumstains)
+ stock placement is banging
+/- depth is alright, could be better though
+/- why didn't you sharpen the neck cut of the top/the collar? would emphasise her face seeing as it's close and there's lines leading to it
+/- right mid side of tag is fucking cool, just oversharpened in a LQ way, otherwise would be pro

i hate how stuff is obvious once you point them out

and you know ALL my tags are either LQ or over-sharpened

the worst part is, it's not even a stock i fucking rendered it using magnetic thingy coz i knew i was gonna smudge it anyway.

Pentool's easy as fuck once you use all of the pentool like the one that changes the angles and the one that just adds them onto the line etc, it's like dot-to-dot

yeah obvs, i might have to properly try now that you merked me,

And yeah, maybe try work in RGB16 or only use sharpen on low opacity on an applied image/use smart sharpen like a perfectionist hoe

and loooooool, magnetic lasso is the one for lazy rendering

You can still display the full picture here and just submit a cropped version for the competition, it will still look good, but will lose some of the effects.

Was just playing around, it didn't look great without a border because it looked cut off, but just showing you can still make it work good.

 

It will lose most of the effective composition, most of the effects, and look a little bit like an average novice tag.

And it doesn't look great with the border either, you've just confined it within black lines without even caring for the composition within them.

And surj yeah that's an intimate par, I think you should try remake it whilst playing next hype on repeat, maybe you can subtly par back through your work lol
