Deathmetal and deathcore?

Anyone here listen to those genres? :\

Aegaeon, As Blood Runs Black, All Shall Perish, Beheading of a King Carnifex, Chelsea Grin, I Declare War, Impending Doom, Suicide Silence, Whitechapel.

Those are the main bands I listen to.

 

deathcore is a very looked - down upon genre. I enjoy Whitechapel and Animosity, but that's about it.

 

Yeah death metal and any genres similar to it are underrated and get a lot of hate.

 

Yeah,my roomate listening to these genres. Also, i really like it too, but i don't know what bands he is listening I will check next time

Not so deathmetal, its more heavy but,

Buried in Verona, parkway drive, Atilla, and all the above mentioned.

 

Yeah it's a music type that you need to ease into and get used to, I started out listening to rock and metal as a younger kid, then progressively evolved my musical interests into heavier genres of metal.

 

So did I Not exactly deathcore (nor any specific genre,) but close enough; The Devil Wears Prada, Veil of Maya, The Black Dahlia Murder, Bring Me the Horizon, Haste the Day, August Burns Red, etc, etc. The list goes on.

 

Thank god there is still sense in what kind of music people listen to. All I here about are Kid Cudi (?) and all these other "great" musicians. What about the heavy metal scene? I despise rap and have always listened to heavy metal.

 

Not a big fan of Death Metal, but I love Post-Hardcore and Metalcore. Some bands I like are Chiodos, Miss May I, Asking Alexandria, Bring me the Horizon, Of Mice and Men, and The Devil Wears Prada

 

I'm the opposite haha, I love death metal and deathcore, but I don't like post-hardcore and metalcore. I don't like how they mix growls and screams with clean vocals (not to mention a lot of metalcore and hardcore band's vocalists use inhales which is why there growls and screams sound worse than most deathmetal/core screams and growls) I prefer just growls and screams (deathmetal/deathcore) or just clean vocals (thrash/heavy/nu).

 

Verona are one of the BEST bands I've ever seen live.
Although parkway are metalcore.


At the minute I LOVE Thy Art Is Murder, I seen them not long ago, easily in the top 5 bands I've ever seen.

I also love Lamb of God, As Blood Runs Black, most things like that. :3
