Are there any others you'd consider of value to yourself(also to do with the game)? Like say skills or well known NPCs/Cities? Gl with Runescape(although, like others said, decent chance with that much money and talking to Jagex themselves), just seeing if there's any other types closely involved with the game that you may be interested in.

You've made a thread for selling your main and you state you decided to quit, but you're offering 21K$ for the name Runescape, makes no sense?

As I've already said it the start of this thread, it has always been my dream to have the account named "Runescape".
The account you are referring to, is one of my very old mains.
Since then I've bought a lot of other accounts, that I rather refer as my main/mains.
It's understandable that you're a bit confused, I don't blame you for that.

There is actually only one other name that I've thought of.
The account named: "God".
But from what I've heard, 'God' is in the same situation as 'Runescape' - Locked. :laugh:

I can try to make a list of names that I really want, but it would take me days to come up with something.

God's going to be a lot harder to get due to the fact that it's locked from so many people trying to recover it. If by some miracle it ever was successfully recovered, it would be virtually impossible to transfer the name, whether that be because it would most likely be stolen, or because the account would eventually get locked again from all the recovery attempts.

Jagex would properly lock if I transferred the name.
But if I was able to buy 'God', it would by for far less money that 'Runescape'.

Andrew and Paul Gower are worth about $250 Million, Jagex as a company is worth more. The people who'd be in charge of making the decision to contradict the rules of the game and sell you that name, would probably only be Mod Mark, Andrew, or Paul, and they are very well off and most likely wouldn't need $21,000. But I really do wish you good luck in buying it!

Also keep in mind once you find a name you like, many people won't take PayPal (esp. such a large amount) because of chargeback issues.

I recommend you use that money to buy RSGP/rares instead and then buy that name.

 

You do realize he wont be able to chargeback if he writes in the Notes, I've fully recieved my virtual object so i will never do a chargeback' or such. However it got me curious how you are thinking, How exactly do you think Jagex wouldnt notice 21,000$ of value being traded?

It doesn't matter bro. Notes DO NOT affect the chargebacks at all. You can chargeback as LONG as you got a VISA attached to your paypal. Because the owner of the VISA card can always say he got HACKED and then the company will try to resolve the issue.

 

I wish that was true but it isn't. The majority of the RWTers hate dealing with PP because they offer no protection for virtual goods and it is easily chargeback-able (if that's a word). However if a dispute is filed as unauthorized or a CC-funded payment is reversed then that's a 100% loss there. Nothing a seller can say to prevent that.

And Jagex doesn't care/know about anything bro. I thought everyone knew that.
