Cleaning Toilets

Would you clean some of the filthiest toilets full time for a 100k salary?

Cons:
The toilets are of the worst in your country. Every day.
5 days a week, 9 - 5
You work alone
You stay until the job is done (no over-time)
Must supply your own clothing
You're job is based around mostly cleaning actual toilets, not bathrooms

Pros:
The exorbitant salary
Contract of employment with all full time benefits
Relatively low-stress job without deadlines, etc.

You must also consider the long term effects of this job and whether or not you would seriously consider letting go of your current one, if employed.

**You are only supplied basic cleaning tools that would be found in most households.**

I would not. I cannot deal with human waste, it's among the large list of things that gross me out. Some of them reasonable, some not so much, but I just don't deal with it.

 

All about the money. I'd make myself do it for 100k a year. You could eat off them when Im done.

 

I would just join the special forces in my country :/

100k a year thats great pay of course i would do it thats like 3k a week for cleaning toilets thats good that would buy you 300b in runescape ha.

 

Lol that would be easy money. 100k just to clean up poop and mop up some piss.

 

The 9-5 part would be tricky, I mean, 8 hours cleaning toilets? That'd suck some serious ass. I honestly probably wouldn't, I'd be extremely unsatisfied with my job even if I was raking in that cool $100k

 

Yes, i would do that for 100,000 a year.

Absolutely not. You will hate every day. You need a job that you enjoy. That you will enjoy doing for the rest of your life.

 

Why hate it? When you get to do the things you love with the money you earn? How many people honestly enjoy there job anyway. Ya you might have enjoyed programming or business economics when you first started out but to sit and do it all day everyday? It sucks.

 

yes I would....a job is a job...I have cleaned bathrooms for toronto's world youth day in 2002...and I only got paid 9.76CAD an hour...trust me....most of the people that came probably didn't even know what toilet paper was (literally).

oh and incase you don't know what world youth day is, its a Christian event held in different places across the world every year. Most of the people that attend are from 2nd/3rd world countries and such.

 

If I had nothing else going for me, I would do it

No. I'm not a slave to money therefore I'm not degrading myself in that way.

No offence to those that actually clean toilets..

 

I would. Only 8 hours cleaning toilets, listen to music or something doing it. 24 hours in a day, 8 hours spent cleaning toilets, 16 hours doing anything else. With 100 grand a year, you could buy so much stuff and live a luxurious life. Plus, you could always quit once you earn 100,000 - 300,000 dollars.

 

I would for sure do it. Who cares? It's a job with no requirements and high pay. Count me in! Where do I send my application? Ha.
