Just bought my first premium rsbuddy scripts!

Now of course i have to ask questions, sythe users, as I'm incapable of finding information on my own.

I want to run my range tank in idung, I'd rather it only use range and not gain any melee exp, but if any i'd like it to do defense. How do I set this, with a bow and arrows bound, and no melee wep bound?

also how do i set it for the best exp per hour? im only 26 dung.

for a level 3 account, how do i gain zeal without gaining exp? what settings?

 

Just use ranged (regular) in the dungeon and train defence up with melee when you're done with dungeoneering.

Best exp varies on your account, but a few things you should have are:

Explorer
Food prep
NO rushing

SoulMonsters - Burying bones gets no exp.

 

noo i think i wasn't clear enough, the range tank is done

it has 94 mage, 94 def, 99 range, 75 att, 73 str, 44 pray (i think its 44, whatever eagle eye is).

it don't want this to change my cb level any, is what im saying. maybe with that info u could point me in the right direction on what settings to use?

You'd be better off just ranging then. In the first option setting, set your primary attack style to "ranged" while having a bow and some arrows bound.

 

like I said, im only 26 dung, it's 30 minutes into the first time i run the script. making about 3k exp per hour.


is that absolutely terrible/an indication im doing something wrong
or normal for such low dung and stuff?

Nah, dungeoneering botting as a whole is rather slow compared to other skills. Your exp/hour will pick up as your level gets higher.

 

I bought ''SoulMonsters'' other da mule its a great script so far botting on my mule and getting zeals for beast stats got 40 zeals atm

if by mule you mean the account you keep your wealth on
while i've heard it's one of the safest things to bot, it's still possible to get caught, don't lose your wealth man

 

He doesn't know what a "mule" is, lol. What he's meaning by "mule" is throwaway account.

 

Oh, then yeah it's safe to just bot for "beast" stats.

It should be in the settings. Friends chats don't work, use the "Familiars" option.

yeah a level 3, maybe.
the level 3 im running right now has 94 fish, 99 wc, 84 fm, etc.
i might get it 99 hp just for the lulz though. idk yet.

the other level 3 will prob be a past sorc garden account, since those became useless for me when rs got so strict on that spot and you can't use multiple accounts on same auth anymore anyway

 

I can't lie, i already kind of regret buying idung, it worked for an hour and i had to restart my computer. Now it doesn't work, only does the ring glitch, no real fix on forums, I've done everything including deleting rsbuddy and redownloading it.

Hoping it's just terrible luck the day I buy the script a unfixed glitch ruins it, and this isn't a regular case.

Don't let this discourage you. Idung is an amazing script but there was been a MAJOR problem with it ever since that RS Update 2 days ago. I've seen it in action before and its truly an incredible script, so I just bought my first copy of my own and guess what.... haven't even been able to get past the ring glitch yet. So feel lucky that you atleast have it running to some degree, because many of us still haven't got a fix yet

It might take a few more days to fix it (god help us all lol) but I'm sure once this fucking problem is dealt with that it will be smooth as it was before. Idungeon Pro really is one of the best scripts you will ever buy!

 

have you tried deleting the cache and shadowscript folders (and deleting them again from the recycle bin)

my issue was not the second deleting, from the recycling bin, but once i did that it worked. supposed to work 100% for anyone, according to forums ?

 

Yeah I have tried this multiple times, in many different variations and it still has not worked. I just deleted RSBuddy AGAIN, cleared the cache and ran CCleaner and restarted my computer. I'm installing all the important updates on my computer atm that I have been neglecting for a few days now to see if that makes any difference, then I will be hopping over to RSBuddy in a minute to re-add Idung into my scripts and download the client once again to see if its fixed yet. I am being as patient as I can, but am really eager to try this script out... (I just bought it a few days ago). More and more people are getting it to work and I feel like I'm the only poor bastard who can't get mine up and running :'(

you seem to know more than i do about all this stuff, but something else i read, your location could have something to do with if it's fixed for you yet

it should be fixed for everyone by the morning, this doesn't sound likely, but i read it on rsbuddy's forums. something to do with certain servers run the wrong version of idung, and the area you live determines what server you are put on? idk.

 

Yeah I don't know how it all works really, but apparantly something to do with the servers that it was being sent from, some people got the update and others didn't. Location, and which server your computer recieves the info from seem to be what determined who got what. I don't know honestly. But it seems that even the people who got the update are having other problems within the script itself (certain bugs etc.).

But there has been good news! After yet ANOTHER attempt, I checked RSBuddy forums and apparantly version 2.43 has been pushed and should hopefully be up and running very soon. I know many people are already botting away happily, but I am still waiting However, it shouldn't be too much longer...

So it should only be a matter of time until the clients are updated and those of us who haven't recieved 2.42 yet, should get the new version 2.43. I just hope I can turn the bot on tonight and test it out while I sleep
