The race as of now; Here are your choices, pick one and explain why you agree with their views, or want them as president.

    Mitt Romney

    Rick Perry

    Michelle Bachman

    Ron Paul

    Herman Cain

    Newt Gingrich

    Rick Santorum

    Jon Huntsman

    Gary Johnson

I personally choose Ron Paul, for his constitutionalism and his consistent votes against un-needed wars and spending. Along with his views on the Federal Reserve and busting out the big corporate tyrannical bigwigs.

    Your last choice....

    Barack Hussien Obama ..

Honestly, they're all about as intelligent as a rock. No matter which one we choose they have some sort of hair-brain politics that are going to 'save the nation' and I mean any way we go we are screwed.... but unless the Tea-Party republicans and the traditionals come to some form of agreement there will be a blow-out in the party. Refer to the Bull Moose Party and that election that gave Woodrow Wilson presidency. If we get a tea-party member God save us, the world will probably hate us more after those 4 years than the last 4 wars combined.

Each and every one of them can be summed up with the following phrase, "Selfish with concerns for only their party, which consists of mainly the wealth."

That being said, politicians of all parties are ignorant. For me personally, Republicans have always been the worst, however. They certainly are not in it for the middle and lower class, which are the vast majority of the country they run.

Sadly though, Republicans are the only party that can really have an affect, because the congress is usually held up by that exact party. The President is nothing but a figurehead.

Ignorant to say that for every candiate.
Yes they are. All middle and lower class have different opinions.

Power of congress typically coincides with the opposite party in office.

Joker, it seems you're bashing them rather than pointing out specific things. The only guys I would bash would be.. Romney, Perry and Cain.. Romney for being a complete jackass. Perry for being a Al Gore supporter and Herman Cain for being part of the Federal Reserve.

A libertarian utopia is about the same as any of the Republicans ideas, minus the fed and the state. He's not liberal whatsoever.

He's the only anti-war, anti-federal reserve, pro-state's rights candidate, but I really don't think he can solve anything. The problem with Libertarian ideas is that it focuses on selfish ideas. Removing the minimum wage laws, removing child labor laws, basically unregulating the market. While this is definitely good for growth, the tragedy of the commons IS NOT AN EXCUSE.

    Why?

You can't just interject "Ron Paul because reasons".

Ron Paul wants Libertarianism. Sythe got into this because he's against Communism/Socialism. He's an Anarchist. I think he might be an Anarcho-Capitalist, but I'm not sure.

Anarcho-Capitalism DOES NOT WORK. Anarchy and business are not compatible, as business can lead into dictatorship through growing power. Unless you're expecting business leaders to be executed on the fly and robbed (even though Anarchy is not always murder and rape. I under stand that), anarcho-capitalism does not work.

I know that Socialism and Communism require some sort of coercion/force to be put into action. But if you realize, no government system has ever been installed peacefully and naturally. I'm not using the fallacious argument "that's how it's always been", I am saying that the only way to install any sort of government is to have a group of people so deprived of their lives that they have no choice but to unify (USA in the 18th century, Egypt, Libya, etc.) or you force those who do not agree with you through isolation and terrorism.

Unemployment is caused by surplus, not by merit and ability, as Libertarians believe. Minimum wage laws and regulate may be forceful, and they may hurt business, but think of it this way.

In the Feudal System, employment was 100% because everyone worked for a LIVING WAGE. If they did not work, they could not live. They were only allowed to move up the scale through work. Unless you're expecting some sort of monarchy to evolve in the U.S., that's not gonna happen any time soon. Libertarian idealists believe that "sweat shops are better than unemployment". Which is true only to the point that next to slave labor, a sweat shop is the next best thing.

Libertarianism is based off of selfish ideals where businesses can prosper due to private property rights. They argue that without the entire world being owned by people, the "tragedy of the commons" (where nobody owns something, therefore everyone owns it) is the cause of deforestation and pollution. They believe that if companies owned plots of land, it would be in their best interest to keep it safe for long term investments. The problem I see with this, is that businesses will usually go for a short term investment that creates the biggest profit. This is why the banks had to be bailed out by our tax dollars. They were allowed to take risks that created a huge hole. Then we decided that by digging another hole to fill the old hole up, we solved the issue.

Paul doesn't necessarily support the legalization of drugs, he just supports the rights of states to make their own drug policy. However, its logistically impossible to have certain states legalize illicit substances, while across the border the same substances are illegal (e.g. people flock to cali for bud). An anti federalist approach to this country will never work, the way government infrastructure is set up, we are locked into a big government system.

Also, if Paul is so strongly for empowering the average american, and granting them personal liberties, why is he so strongly pro-life? Hypocrite.

Barack "hussein" Obama? Please, give me 3 things he's done that you dislike, and give me sufficient proof to why you dislike him. Personally, I think he's doing a fine job. Sure, I don't completely agree with EVERYTHING he's done, but hey, he isn't perfect. I can't believe 100% of what one person thinks, I'm my own person, and so is he. Now, please, if you would, explain to me with SUFFICIENT proof to back yourself up to why you hate him as much as you do.

    Why?

Ron Paul wants to give power back to where it belongs, with the states. "A government which governs the least is best"

Ron Paul realizes that the war on drugs is a never ending/pointless war and we are wasting our time and money on it.

Ron Paul will cut our spending tremendously.

Ron Paul knows how to bring the economy back.

Proof pl0x. He's pulled tens of thousands of troops out. Sure, he's added troops recently, but doesn't that humor the right siders? Not to mention that he's only added troops because it's a necessity. There's still Al-Khaida members out there, if we just randomly pull out, they'll come after us, and the LAST thing we want is a war on our soil. Works to bomb other nations? Yeah, that's his goal in life. Bomb other nations. You're obviously highly ignorant on the issue of politics.

What about the health care bill?

    What about the jobs plan?

    What about the tax plan?

    Hm?

    With good reason.
Ron Paul has been straight forward from day one. If you look at who created the UN (at least at the US end), its the same person who promoted a "new world order". Franklin Roosevelt. This UN/NWO has done nothing but create wars that are not needed, to gain control/support from nations who are not in the UN. Iran posed no immediate threat to the USA when we first starting bombing them (1990's) and still poses no immediate threat to the United States, yet we are still over there. They have a third world army. Barack Obama promised during his campaign that he would have the troops out of Iraq in 16 months. However in '09, after he was elected he approved a significant increase in troops to Iraq. That means he wasn't even in office a year and lied to the american people. I for one, do not want a liar as a president. This election will be a crucial election for american history, and i would not be suprised if there is a lot, too much to be honest, mud slinging directed at Ron Paul.

Sigh. You're another sheep. I'll supply you the proof.

For the Nato/Obama attacks on Pakistan there are many.. Here are a few.. from credible sources..

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...rther-tested-with-Nato-helicopter-strike.html

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...helicopters-in-afghanistan-border-region.html

    http://www.channel4.com/news/nato-attack-launched-on-pakistan-border

NATO and the U.S. along with a other countries helping have basically invaded, and taken over Libya. Read the constitution. That's a big no-no.

If you think Al-Qaeda is an actual adequate terrorist force then you're a fucking fool. Here are some questions for you..

Did you know that the "Rebels" in Libya are "Al-Qaeda" ? Oh.. but we support them.

Did you know Osama bin laden was a CIA operative? Oh, he also had Marfans disease wich kills you in the maximum (besides weird cases) 10 years? Bin Laden was on Dialysis machines WAY before 2011. He would have been dead way longer than this "navy seal" fake ass raid.
The second leader in command was born in the U.S. Coincidence right? A jewish kid turned islamic radical.

There's so much to teach you, I just don't have the time.. Look all this crap up yourself. Stick to the topic.

P.S. For the "bills" you've said.. Why don't you read them. The jobs bill doesn't even start giving jobs until 5 years. The health care bill? Okay yeah, force people to buy health insurance or get fined..TAX plan? Okay so we're going to rape the middle class more. Yeah, poverty is our thing man.
