RSBuddy seems to go down sporadically for me.

Before reading my issue, it doesn't seem to be my cache, my computer being on for too long (I turn it off every day), or my brower. It is also not me being IP banned.

When I try to access the RSbuddy website, I get a "The operation timed out when attempting to contact rsbuddy.com."

Oddly enough, ACCESS to the website is very rare for me. Most of the time I cannot access anything. I can tell it is not an IP ban, because I purchased iDungeon Pro and have been using the RSBuddy client, as well as downloading scripts, every chance that it comes back up.

It usually stays available to me for about a week or so, before it times out.

I have tried checking my hosts file (for that malicious file that blocks RSBuddy), clearing my cache + cookies, using every browser I can (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Seamonkey), as well as one attempt of system restoring.

I *can* access the website through proxies. I tried Hot Spot Shield, and (because it's probably a well known proxy) it was IP banned, but I got on the website. When I turned off HSS, it timed out and I was unable to access it.

If anybody could help me out here, that would be awesome. Thank you very much.

 

yeah rsbuddy is getting messed up alot by rs updates at the moment.

OP: Try to use a different computer on your same connection if that doesn't work its your internet.

 

But the problem is that the only computer I bot on is this one, as my very cheap laptop is for when I go on business. Damn it.

Oh well, I'll deal with it.

 

Went through a lot of troubleshooting (like 3 hours) with another user regarding this same issue, same EXACT things you are describing, and he was given a temporary IP ban on RSBuddy website.

If the website works on another network (a friend's house or something), post in the help section to try to find out what is up with your account and why they did it.

I haven't posted on the forums, and I haven't used any sort of offensive name. I only log into RSbuddy using this computer and IP.

Okay, I'm confused as to how this is an IP ban. The website doesn't even show up.

When using a proxy (such as Hot Spot Shield, which is banned) I am able to access the forums. I AM ABLE TO USE THE BOT PERFECTLY
