How do legit players make money these days?

I play legit on my main and I am having a lot of trouble making at least 15m per month to support my secondary main which is botted fully.

15m cause I want to pay for membership on the other acc.

 

They buy their gp

 

I think the best is killing green dragon botters. They drop good amount of dragon bones. I tried it personally and it worked. bout 20m per day depending on how fast you are.

 

revenant killing, made 3 ml in a hour there, also, depends on luck.

 

I would say Dicing/staking. Or buy RSGP if you have the IRL cash.

 

Killing bosses. Seriously is this not obvious to you?

 

Im a general in a big dice clan i make a good profit day to day i cant stand pking for cash or bosses so i wouldnt really know how you could make money legit mate,ask friends for ranks in dicing clans maybe or start one yourself.

 

This is what the majority of legit people do. I still talk to some and this seems to be by far where they get the most money.

 

Most legit players kill Nex and the new boss monsters - like Glacors. A ton of legit players made some bank when the boots where 40m.

Staking and dicing are zero sum. Someone wins an amount equal to what someone else loses, therefore, it is not a way that the average legit player makes money.

 

The majority of 'legit' players have stopped playing Runescape.
The ones that remain make their money by killing green dragons, frost dragons and buying their gold from black market sites.

 

I would agree with your first part.

Boss killing is popular without a doubt as you will always make money from them even if you buy out supplies etc.

Still most people only play runescape for staking nowadays but its same thing as dicing, you win you lose.

 

They kill frost dragons, or do slayer. You can make that much easily by doing a majority of dailies/activities that make money.

 

People barely kill Glacors anymore. The price/horrible drop rate of the new boots and Arma Bstaff just isn't worth the time/effort.


I boss for my cash nowadays:
I made a decent stack of cash at Arma not long ago (even with the shit price of Arma Hilt).
When you get the level/gear requirements to get into a pro team, Corporal Beast is not only an effortless boss to kill but it will also ALWAYS pay for your supplies (plus more).
Bandos is always a good option as well, since even a good duo can camp their for 6+ hours without having to bank.
Sara is supposed to be about equal with Arma in terms of cash and how fun it is, but that is the GWD boss I have not done yet.

If you have the start-up cash, gear and levels, Nex would probably bring in the most profit by far. Since Jagex made the drop rate better on Nex items soon after its release, and the added element of not having to get killcount (with ceremonial robes), it is very worth while (although the investment is significantly larger). You know what they say, gotta spend money to make money.

 

Not many legit players that make there own cash nowadays but skilling is the best and merchanting.

 

Bossing and merching are your best bets

 

Merching, dicing, staking or buying their GP.

 

Dicing/Staking or don't bother. It's the only way to make big cash in a short time, yes there's a chance to get cleaned, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Strategically staking/dicing and it'll take insane odds to get cleaned.

 

I went from 50m 2 400m dicing with planned out rolls and I still managed to get cleaned. =/
