The 2 spears to the throat is incredible.

The iron neck seems unbelievable too.

I might start some of these training methods for a few years. :)

At 1:58, he thrust his throat into 2 spears, hold it there for a few seconds, and like the last monk comes out unaffected.
This is a trick I saw on TV how it works.

Jeff you really got the best Signatures.

Like a magic trick, where they're just fooling the eyes, or something that you can do after years and years of hard training? :/

I truly doubt that it's possible to break even a normal glass pane by throwing a needle. If someone could find me the impact force/pressure an average flat glass pane can withstand, I could calculate the speed at which the needle needs to travel to break it. I'm guessing with such a small mass the speed would have to be ridiculous.

The glass could be sugar glass, or it's not annealed properly, making it much weaker than normal glass. The needle might not be a normal needle, et cetera. There's so many other simpler and more plausible explanations than a mystical energy, so I'm going to call bullshit on this.

    nowhere near the middle
Even if it was, wouldn't it serve to lessen the impact, as the glass has more room for flexing, and the force gets dissipated over a larger area? Sure, with larger force it would end up breaking more of the glass but with a small one it would just vibrate a little. If he wanted to chip the glass, he should aim at a part with less room for deviation, so more of the force would be directed at a smaller area and less spent at vibrating the glass around.
It's getting late and I might not be making sense, correct me if I've managed to botch everything up in a surge of fuzzy logic

It's not fake. Simply youtube " Shaolin monk breaks glass with needle " tons of results. Here are afew.

    Yes there 2 are different

Go ahead and poke there on your throat, now tell me that it doesn't have feeling?

I don't believe its "Chi", i believe its truly just extremely hard practice done religiously. But, seeing as I'm not a Shaolin monk, nothing i can say.

I think it's due to their training and dedication. They may believe it's connected to some spiritual thing but I doubt it.
