My Grammar Sucks :/

I've lived in a non-english speaking country for 6 years.
As time passed, my grammar began to deteiorate(?)
I probably sound like an asian fag who tries to use big words now.

Thus, I am requesting that you guys edit my grammar mistakes or kindly tell me which words that I've misused :/

If you guys could do that, I would be very thankful.

 

Just wondering, where were you born, and why'd you move? And sure I'll try to if I remember.

 

Born in South Korea in 1993, moved to the States when I was three because of my dad's studies, came back 6 years ago.

 

Just a few that don't matter much. I always thought it was rude to correct someone on a forum, people tend to flame those that do.

I think your grammar is fine. And as long as you're on sythe where people always speak English, your grammar wont deteriorate as much compared to not reading any English at all

 

Just look at other people with good grammar, you will eventually learn where to use the correct punctuation etc.

 

The only grammatical error I saw in the OP was deteriorate missing an "r". Aside from that, you seem to be doing just fine. If you're unsure of yourself run your post through Word. Even if it only picks up the minor errors, it will show you (at least) some of the more common grammatical errors.

Oh... and you're far better than most people on the forums. The biggest errors I find are the different "yours", "theres", and "its" - none of which will be a problem for you (from what it appears).

 

You do not sound like one, your grammar is pretty good compared that your main language is not English.

Moreover, if you want to improve, I suggest two things, communicate more and attend some special or extra English lessons/courses.
Or if you did not finish the school, it will not be an issue after certain time, just do your best on English lessons. Good luck.

You are being grammatically correct, but if you want us to spell check for you we shall support your cause. And, if you're un-sure of something then feel free to PM me I'd gladly check it over (Say, you're posting a thread and It's quite long and you feel as if It's not quintessential)

Grammar should be important as I'm sick of trying to read people's misspelling and an over use of commas ect ect.

In the parentheses, capitalization of "it's" is not necessary.

I do admire your use of the word "quintessential," though.

I think that the main reason why my grammar deteriorated (<=lmao thanks) was because of the people around me talking to me in broken english, in which I had to reply in broken english. lol

Firstly you say that your grammar sucks, now you say that you can teach people English. I do not understand you.

 

I'ma move this to help / tech support as it really is not personal.

 

Not every field of english teaching requires good grammar.

 

Honestly, your grammar is really good. Some of the people we get on here can barely speak, let alone form a sentence as well as you. The trick to it is keep watching how other people write and try and pick up some of the things they do.

 

Just avoid 1337 speak, use capital letters and periods, make sure your sentence is a complete thought.
