    Internet Problem

Hey, I'm from the Birmingham area and the BT exchange here has had a powerfailure resulting in a loss of broadband to its customers.

Although my internet is not with BT, whenever I phone up Orange (My provider) they always say that my connection goes through the 'BT Exchange'. I've had problems with my broadband over the past couple of days and it has dropped in speed so low that it's impossible to watch a video and it takes a while to load Sythe. This really sucks and I was wondering before I relate it to a fault in my home, even though i'm not with BT would there problem effect me?

They don't word it as if it would on there website, so its either a big coincidence or that's whats causing my troubles.

I know this probably isn't the best website to ask on, but I check in here regularly and I feel most comfortable asking you guys.

    Thanks.
