Actually 4% of the US population identify themselves as Gay. Of course some people probably lied. Also this is a runescape internet forum, not the US census.....

Yep, the numbers are wrong.

 

I assume you mean that there is more than 4% of people that are gay in the US. How do you know that a lot of people lied about being gay in that 4%? Maybe only 2% of people are gay. You can't be sure on statistics, you just have to accept the numbers that are given. Heck maybe 11% of people are truly gay, who knows. It could be 2% or 11%, who knows?

 

5% isn't too far off from what I've read in terms of statistics (and there were only 11 actual votes on the first page, not 20).

I think homosexuality is far more prevalent than 5%, some things you just will never know by asking people and noting it in a chart.
Personal experience makes me believe that it is far more natural to be sexually attracted to men than what you may think.

It is just my personal opinion.

 

Maybe the location where you live has a higher percentage of homosexuals than the rest of the country. Maybe in your city, 23% of the people are homosexual, but the rest of the country could still be 5%.

 

Again I am just giving my opinion percentages taken out of your ass are worth nothing ( I know they were just examples) and percentages taken from statistical polls are worthless to me.
I am just telling people here what I percieve.
If a city has "23% of homosexual population" it would just come to show how volatile and wrong statistics about this can be.
Also in this case homosexual means more "being attracted to people of your same sex" rather than "not being attracted to people of the opposite sex".

No I'm not gay and I have no problem with gays. My one roomate is gay and he doesn't bother me one bit. BUT I canNOT stand the types of gay people who are in your face rubbing in that they're gay and make a huge deal out of it, those type of people I can't stand. If you're gay by all means go about your business but pda isn't cool.

I'm actually against gays but I won't ridicule anyone here. I'm against it but don't try to offend them I just leave them alone and if they don't leave me alone it might become different.
