30 Vs 40 Vs 70 Def?

So i'm a turmoil pure w/ 99 range, mage, 95 prayer, 94 hp, 93 str, 80 atk, 30 def, 92 Herb (ovls), 63 sum.

What i need to no is the following.

Should i :
A) Stay 30 defence
B) Quest 40 Defence
C) Quest + Train 70 Defence

30 Defence:
Pros:

Lower Combat
Lower Defence opponents
Stay in Fatality (Clan im in, no higher then 35 Defence is allowed)
Cons:

Lower def meaning combo'ed easier
People don't fight since low risk

40 Defence:
Pros:

Rune Armour
Veng
Slightly better loots
Cons:

3 Combat levels

70 Defence:

Pros:
Barrows armour (DH Pking etc)
Bandos armour (Amazing Str Bonus)
Ability to Boss w/ friends (Making $ + I'm not bored and can do something besides PKing)
Alot of other things.
Cons:

7 Combat level difference from 40 def, and 10 from 30.
Potentially 'Ruined' Account if i decide to sell in the future.

Please give me reasoning beyond '40 defence owns', Thanks.

 

I would say 40 or 45 defence because it's in the middle of what u said. You made it seem like 70 def was a bit too much but 30 defense was a bit too low, so I think 40 or 45 defence would be best for you as you can still do lots of things mains can do and have more access to better armour and weapons

 

40 Def, Veng + a Chaotic maul and you'll wreck kids. 30 Defence is just cool, not very effective.

 

You can get barrows gloves and turmoils too at level 40.

In my opinion if you're bored with your current account you can move up to 40 defence and then play that account for about a month and if you're liking it you'll be fine with it if not move up to the 70 defence and then multiple doors open up for potentially more fun.

Other option: bot up an account or two to both questionable levels and then you have all three to play with

 

30 def is we're pro's challenges themselves. But 70 def is for garbage main brids.

 

Personally I'd say that 70 defence really does make the difference.

The loots are 10x better. The pking is much more fun. Your account is capable of so much more, if not everything on the game.

Enough said.

 

This is what i think, and tbh i don't really feel like questing all that much.. so i'd prob just get veng + dslayer and leave the rest for when i feel like it and get 70 def lol. I'd pro be PKing in rune gloves either way cuz 100k for gloves is alot :x

Don't see where that's coming from but putting that aside.

Having an almost maxed 30 def turmoil pure, at 106 cb f2p, pking is horrible, you get hit like crazy, the turmoil zerkers heal more than you hit with soul split and when you do hit they're venged, 30 defence anything higher than 95 cb f2p is bad.

being an ex-zerker pure i can say that it is much more "fair" at pking than 30 defence, you will no longer be a maxing post anymore and you'll be able to venge combo easily.

and 70 defence is out of the question.

PVMing on the other hand:
I can pvm fine on my turmoil pure, only limitation there is your 80 attack, but that still hits relatively well.

with 40 defence you have access to almost maxed str gear (torso/b gloves) and perhaps fighter hat (Not entirely sure about the story about that now, the def req. used to be 45 on the rs home page and in game a couple years ago, but now everywhere i see it needs 40, any confirmation would be nice).
