I think it is unfair but the kids says he is ok with it so at least the kid isn't too upset. But if someone has that talent they should be in some special training to nurture their skills not try to suppress them

Fair game imo, they're only kids after all. It happens a lot here in rugby that if someone is playing "meball" or is simply bigger and stronger and better than other players they'll sub them.

I've been on bad losing teams in football(soccer) playing people better and older people that the ref/coach usually tell the team to play 2 touch football to help the other team.

Good sportsmanship, kids need to learn that. I didn't watch the video but if he's very good they should just move him onto a higher team or get him in special training to nurture his talent.

 

He's faster then the ref lol.

I say he should play 8th grade so he gets some better competition.

 

So I guess I had the football rules wrong my whole life then, Cause last time I checked winning the game and scoring touch downs was praised not frowned upon.

At a young age it's a good rule, you don't want just one kid destroying the whole field, it's better to pass the joy of sports around.

We actually saw this on CNN Student News in my world history class, seem's like a fine rule. At his age, you want everyone to be playing and having a good time. not just focus on 1 person. Besides, only 1 year till its dropped anyway.

 

He is prolly not anything special.. the teams they play don't even have uniforms.
