Attention

I'd like to make everyone aware that something seems to be happening within the wow and runescape private markets:

Someone has been giving Emails to Blizzard and Jagex about people who are selling goods so watch out.

Now, The proof of this would be that I logged into my email today and became aware that My runescape had recieved 5 infractions and is now banned due to the trading of real world goods. This didn't suprise me, my runescape accounts have been passed around like STDs; However, I recieved an email from WOW stating that my account had been reported and NOBODY is aware of my WOW Username, I'm very careful not to give it out. So that would mean, my E-Mail was directly reported. If this has been happening to anyone else, Please post here. If not, It may be my bad, and Tread Carefully.

Phishing links, I wouldn't log on to those. Your email seems like a spam target. You have like 20 spam emails.

 

Yeah, what helicopter said. You should go directly to the RS website and check from there instead of clicking the links.

 

I have lots of these too, the links look real but once you click on them the links change, just a phisher, so ignore them.

 

Those aren't people telling Jagex/ Blizzard about you trading on the black market.

They're phish emails made to steal your passwords, don't click on them.

 

As other's stated just a spam phisher' i have received many of them, your probably on someone's email list.

 

They're in the game for several years. Don't post your e-mail adres at public spaces on the internet and you won't receive them. They're maily spambots scrolling down forums like Sythe.

 

It could also be those guys who say add me on MSN because I'm giving out 2b to random strangers! You give him your email (maybe it's the same email) and he turns around and tells Jagex.

They're fake emails, don't click them.

 

those e-mails are spam/phishing e-mails for stealing you wow/runescape account so it's better not to click them just mark them as spam and delete them

 

seems fishy for my liking.

 

If you want to avoid getting listed by bots keep your email private or set it as a picture or graphic
I've done this with all my emails for the past year.

Check the source of the email... they are FAKE.

Mark as junk & delete.

 

Hahaha like everyone has said man, those are links that are just trying to phish you for your Runescape name and password. Some of them look extremely real though, huh? Right after I joined Sythe, I logged into my email for the first time in awhile and my spam box was FULL of fake emails from "Jagex". Atfirst I got really freaked out because they looked so real and they were infracting me for being involved in RWT (which I had just joined Sythe purely for that reason). I nearly fell for it, until I checked the links and they all lead to sites like runescope.com, runnescape.com etc.

As long as you don't click them or attempt to log in, you will be just fine

As everyone has stated, these are phishing attempts and you obviously fell for it

 

I don't even have a WoW account and it's been banned sixteen times already...

I've got 100s of these on my other msn lol. Apparently I've sent 100s of password change requests.

 

This wouldn't make the slightest bit of sense if they were real emails.
