Of course. I am fortunate enough to have a great life.
People who abuse drugs etc don't seem to be IMO.

You only get one of them, so yeah of course I'm grateful for it. Drugs are a part of life, so if you feel that your life's value is so diminished that it's worth the possibility of it being cut off early for that kind of lifestyle then that's your decision (religious views aside.)

    Gratitude

I'd like to be grateful, and although I really want to feel like I am, sometimes I can't help but feel like I take so much for granted... Sometimes I wish I had nothing, or that I truly knew what hardship was so that maybe I'd appreciate the things I have a bit better.

Gonad. I would have been a lot more gratefil if I found the site in your sig a bit earlier. Ive been looking for something like that during the past six years. If i had found it then, i coildve saved time by homeschooling myself.

Even though its a tad late, im thankful that i finally found what i needed. You should add a description though :)

Asolutely. But more than life, I am grateful for nature. Because i'm a small being in a sense. I tend to see the beauty in everythigng around me more than my self.

    This.

If it weren't for the friends i enjoy being with, what would be the point? No need to strive for my full potential or something if i don't have anyone to share my happiness with. Friends make life what it is, if i was alone i wouldn't care to be here.

For me , I'd say I am not grateful for life. I am not saying that i hate my life and plan on killing my self. I just view the world as a fucked up place that has too many problems. I believe that we're all inevitably fucked. We are only here to die. Our lives are meaningless compared to the earths life. The earth has been around for ~13 Billion years what is a 80-90 Year life compared to 13 Billion years ? Nothing. People can only make small changes in the world.

Now on a happier side , i am fascinated by life , how it came to be , where we came from. How the big bang happened. What was around pre big bang.. This is getting into religion which i dont really feel like talking about. Anyways.

Overall life isn't that bad. It's short. So i try and have the most fun I can while im living. I am 18 years old and have no regrets, i live life to party hard and study hard. I dont think because i do drugs means i dont care about life.

    ^^ Lol'd
First of all: The earth has only been here for 4 billion years. IDK where 13 Billion came from, nothing of importance is 13B years old
Second of all: What changes can you make? Meet the One man convinces everybody else to change the world phenomenon. This is when people who are good at manipulation manipulate other people into whatever they want. Ex: MLK Jr., Hitler, Etc.

Personally, I'll give my live a 7/10. It could be better, It could be worse, but there is a big range of people less fortunate than me that I wouldn't mind being.

    Gratitude

Leaves me with to many unanswered questions but yes, I think I am. All the incredible things I have at my disposal, like swimming in a lake without an army shooting me on spot I guess I am pretty grateful and should get out more to enjoy what we have for this short period of time.
