Sadly disappointed with McDonalds

First of all; let me know if anything like this has happened to you.

After I drop my friend off back at his house, I was thinking of the ultimate food I could munch down on. Something from the dollar menu with my one dollar.
Oh, McDonalds hot apple pies! YUM. Okay. Go to McDonalds, ask for 2 apple pies, and they tell me this:
"Sorry we're out of apple pies"
Me: "LULWUT?"
"Sorry we don't have apple pies"
Me: "....... Make more? Fuck you McDoanlds...."
Drive through flipping them off a bunch

Okay.. So.. What the fuck?
Do these fast food places run out of food...?
Like seriously, can't they just make more?
Or do they pre-make the food and just serve it all day?​

I ended up going to Jack in the Box and getting 2 tacos with my dollar, delicious!
I'm not sure if I'm going to back to McDonalds, they are asshole's.

Right right right. I forgot fast food places don't actually make their food.. Silly me.

 

They don't make food at any of the fast food resteraunts. At most places the most the "cooks" do is:

Add water
Microwave

Or

Thaw
Grill
Deep Fry

 

And my days of FF are done................

Lube Sauce - The sauce that comes on the Big Mac.

I use to work at McDonalds, the pies come in frozen, then they bake them in the oven. They probably didn't have anymore frozen ones to bake at all, they usually bake like 10 at a time, I doubt it was because they didn't want to make them, they were probably literally out.

It's a well known fact at mcdonalds, the food isn't cooked. Maybe due to high demand that day for apple pies, they ran out?

 

They probably just ran out. Tbh, you way overreacted to it too lol. It's not like it's their fault.

 

So did you not realize that they can't just 'make more' from scratch, because they don't have the ingredients to make more?

This is assuming that they actually make the pies though, which, they don't.
