Actually a lot of gay people spend their time in the gym making themselves look good. They'd probably be better than some of the straight gays.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with "being better" than other people anyway, they all go trough the same training to get into the army, so they should all know the same things.

 

Believe it or not gays are tougher and stronger than us straight guys, They go through alot more in life then us which makes them stronger mentally, I support this I hope it all goes well.

You are generalizing the entire population of homosexual men by a few articles. How can you base the entire population of homosexuals which is roughly ~23% of The population on a few articles. I can find a ton of articles about straight guys being bullied to the point where they commit suicide, which proves your statement completely wrong. Homosexuality does not make someone mentally weaker then someone who is straight, if both homosexuals and straight guys have killed them selves in the past over being bullied. It's ironic how they're risking their lives for people who don't even want them there.

It's a good move by Obama, they're putting their lives on the line for your country - so you better support them regardless of their sexual orientation.

 

Since Pubby here is overly sensitive because his periods, let me reiterate what I said.
I guess that I didn't think much about it, and rushed into things when I said that homosexual people have a weaker mentality than straight people.

What I mean is that homosexual people don't have a stronger mentality than straight people and I will stand by my point, unless you can state evidence proving so.

 

First of all , a females "period" does not have an S on the end. Secondly, before you ask me for my proof, where is your proof supporting that homosexuals have an inferior mental toughness then straight people ? Please , link me to information regarding that. Next if you really wish me to prove that mental toughness depends on the individual and not on sexual orientation i will be happy to prove that for you. Until then i bid you a good day.

What does sexual preference have to do with anything? It doesn't make them less of a soldier for being gay, it doesn't affect them during combat or during duty so why do people make a big deal out of it. A soldier is a soldier, sexual preference can not demean them from that position.
