    im 59 mage 38 hp 38 combat i have the blast necklace should i get def up so they hit on me less or should i just stay 1?

    Mage pures suck, 0% ko power. And risking that blast necklace is not a good idea or if u really like dungeoneering.. And after 2-3 hours of pking the mage pure is ruined cause u got then to high mage, and no new spells.

    It could easily be a tank. ;\

    OT: It's really your choice and dependance upon what kind of account you are planning on creating.

    If you want a pure, then stay at level 1 Defence.

    However if you wish to advance your Defence levels, then you'll be creating a tank which are also decent.

    For lower level pking 1 defense is good, but if you're looking at getting it up their you'll need the levels.

    For now stay at 1 :)

    1 def will be good for your level, but mage is useless in higher levels, because of lack of spells/specials/combos.

    There is no mage tank armour (at least in p2p) so defence is pointless.

    It would be pointless to get up your defense, because you'll have high mage defense!
