Yes, this is yet another betting thread by Pockets.

This time, I'm calling all you chess players to take me on in the greatest strategy game of all time. Yes, I'm salty that I missed out on the chess tournament, so I'll be taking it out on all of you.

Sides will be randomly determined, unless agreed upon. We will agree on time settings ahead of playing (no lightning or blitz please).

We can play on funorb or pretty much whatever.

You will be expected to pay ahead of time unless you are sufficiently trusted.

With bets like these aren't you worried about cheaters?

 

For big amounts I'll ask to use teamviewer to watch each other and try to avoid untrusted people. Other than that I'm pretty confident I'll still be able to beat most cheaters.

And is that 5m donater rank a new thing?

 

1) Any old bastard can use a cheat program on a laptop or something to avoid teamviewer
2) Cheat programs have consistently matched the best recognized chess players in the world, yeah, those 60 year old Czech guys.
3) The RSGP donor ranks were ranks awarded to those who donated before December 10, 2007.

 

Don't blame me, I accidentally clicked on one of them.
Since then five or six out of eight recommended videos on the front page are fucking ponies.

 

1) Wow look who's a cheating genius. Maybe Skype AND Teamviewer then. Also, I think I'll be fine playing trusted people and it's not like the chess tournament was just full of people trying to cheat (I don't think).
