Botting 10-20 Frost dragon bots?

Will this be profitable including the ban rate? My friend who is a major gold farmer 24/7s 35ish fdk bots at a time and sais only 4 got banned in the past 4 months. Is this realistic or what? I'm just being paranoid as I was building up 9 bots atm for green dragons but in f2p and there's only 1 left unbanned (8 got banned) within the past week... Not 24/7 either just 15-18 hours/day.

Another question is can they like link the accounts somehow? I somehow feel that they can because of how 8/9 my accounts got banned at alkharid warriors in the past FEW days. Or am I just being much too paranoid and it's just cuz it's in F2P and alkharid warriors is risky as people always flame "that's MY warrior gtfo idiot!!" etc..

 

FDs aren't worth doing anymore. The actual profit is about 400k/hour. You're better off looking for something else (be creative!)

Accounts are not linked by IP. And botting in F2P at such a hotspot like your example will obviously get you banned eaily.

But to rehiterate, botting in f2p, is considered high risk overall, so you can't be paranoid when comparing f2p ban risk to p2p ban risk, one has nothing to do with the other.

It is most likely that they can link accounts, they have your ISP (although many people could have the same ISP, lets say using internet café or university network) but I doubt they would flag all your accounts because one was banned, infact, I'm pretty sure they don't.

I also don't think RS does discrimination because of previous infractions and if you pay and bot wisely, you should be fine. Furthermore, if your friend does it, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do it, 4 banned in 4 months for 35 bots running 24/7 is a pretty low banrate and I'd be happy with such a rate if I was running such a big farm.

I'm not a gold farmer, I don't run many bots but from reading around and common sense, this is my opinion.

Yes, accounts are usually chainbanned. Never sign your applets when botting.
fdk are way too crowded to make any profit, the secret is to have accounts that require little work to recreate if they get banned, and that way all that matters will be 2 things

hosting cost

a good thing to bot would have to be mining pure essense or sorc garden, do your own research or ask personally to know botfarmers and hope they answer you xD, rsbots.net rsbuddy autofighter

much better than frosties and much easier reqs and almost 0 ban rate. Otherwise look for other methods, there are a lot out there. trust me, I've been through it.

 

400k/hr is still a shitload if you can run 20-30 bots tbh so as long as the accounts don't drop like flies.. then it'd be amazing

I think that what he meant by "aren't worth doing anymore" is that the reqs for them are alot higher than other methods that would actually make more money. Anyways, thats the way I see it, you basically need a good combat main to do fds efficiently where you could be making as much if not more money with a one skilled char.

Also, you could probably be using your imagination as mentionned above, find another good moneymaking spot, and make more there with same stats as you would with FDs.

honestly, if you already have the files, just sell them. You can get a bunch for each fdk bot.

 

FDK isn't worth it anymore. Only would average a few hundred thousand gp an hr, figuring in the supplies needed and how crowded it is. If this was back in April 2010, I'd have 2000 bots in every world.

 

bot the shit out of them!! crash the frost bones so i can get a fast cheap 99 pray! lol i been meaning to buy that for a while now. but if they crash i would definitely hold out on buying it...
