Had Blood Barrages ability changed?

It seems to me that the xp I get from a cast heals instead of doing damage sometimes now.

I'll watch my hp jump from 520-590 for example, but only hit around 90 damage. It used to take a 200+ hit to heal that much?

 

I'd test it out but I'm f2p.

If this did happen, then mage boxxing will take a bit more skill.

Yes they changed the damage. It was really confusing my first day back staking. I got cleaned between the new armadyl spell and the massive heals I wasn't expecting

 

Mage boxing isn't really worth it if you do not have the Armadyl spell anymore, because the healing is extremely unpredictable.
