Anyone else fall victim to this

So I have now 3 accounts I have botted:

1 with 99 Strength and Mining

And another with 99 Fletching/99 Mining

And a handcannon pure, all botted.

I just don't feel the acomplishment anymore in the game, getting a 99 involves no work now so when I get one I buy the cape, do the emote and then stand there and I try to legit play and I can't, it's just so damn boring lol.

I even have a auto walker

AUTO WALKER?

 

just pk or stake that's all I do I just use my profits to buy another 99.

 

Well I haven't been botting for long so I couldn't tell you exactly. But I've personnaly been playing on and off this game for a long long time and the thing I've always enjoyed is killing bosses, even if it isn't as profitable anymore, and that other activities such as pking/staking/merching can double your money in a matter of seconds, it's still something I look forward to everytime.

I think you just need to find something, that little something you enjoy doing on the game the most and do it when you actually feel like legit playing, I see botting as a means to an end, getting the stats I want to be able to do what I want, since I don't consider that spending X legit hours on a skill to get 99 is worth it, did it a few times, doubt I'll do it again.

Staking keeps me interested, other then that i wouldnt play

 

I have mage boxed before i got to 40b sold 20b and got cleaned for 20b nowadays many stakers are smart and know the little secrets to staking their are some boxing secrets but i do not know them yet and yes i know how is their a secret to boxing its pure luck thats your opinion.

But no, I prefer walking myself because you'll never know what you'll find along the way.

pretty much happens to everyone i guess. i have quite many of times for real long periods of time, longest was approx 4 years. take a break from the game. catch up on some xbox or go outside and play, maybe in a little while you will enjoy playing again, or maybe your just loosing interest in the game, it happens to everyone at some point, maybe this is just your point

Hahahha. I like you. And the part about the autowaler. I'm the same though. I just bot and bot and bot. It's gotten to the point where i dont even celebrate 99s. I let my bot get 99 strength overnight. I might boss fight when i get maxed? Who knows.

 

Botting makes the game boring , much more satisfying to do it yourself.

 

What i do when im bored is a shitton of quests, try and do them all it really adds to the game, and as stated above staking gives u some excitement

you should try that new approach.

 

Try making a main in which you don't bot at all or use the GE etc. Getting all your own resources. It's rather fun.

 

I just bot 99's and move on to the next one.

 

I do questing and pking, and the occasional minigame. For some reason I really like dungeoneering, so I do that legitimately too.

EDIT: Just try all RS has has to offer, a wide variety of minigames, or maybe start questing again. You'll find something.
