donations via 2co?

many websites are starting to use 2co, i would take anyway to donate through something besides a wu though, idk i have a bank account and i wanna donate

Moneybookers, Google Checkout, Alertpay, Amazon Payment ?

 

Bad idea (from my somewhat knowledge). 2CO cannot support services very well. Since no electronic goods are being transferred in return, it may be a little hard to fight disputes.

 

i wish I could donate via my credit card .....

 

yea seriously, i suppose if there are arguements against 2co we could try and find somethign to donate via cc..

i feel like donating would be so much easier, i can pledge that i would donate 50$... thats not counting the like 5000 other people who would too.

i suppose it is always possible there will be chargebacks, i mean cant we just take away their donating title and ban them? problem solved? or maybe not.

 

The problem is that people could donate mass sums of cash to seem trusted, then chargeback after they scam someone.

 

They're just trying to make sure that all money that is donated is non-refundable and that it is going directly to the website. This is so people cannot scam mass amounts of money and then take their money back, that may have already been put into the site in some way shape or form.

 

Here's the problem besides messing up Matthew's account:

Someone joins, donates $1000(exaggeration) off of a stolen credit card, people trust him because of his donation rank, the guy scams and he will backcharge.

Not to mention, the money is sent to the site, it doesn't just sit there, therefore Matthew will just end up being screwed over.

 

understandable, but there must be some kind of method.. or else no one would be able to use credit cards on the internet, theres so many other websites that use them

 

Buy gold from someone who will agree to sell to you with a CC funded PayPal, donate gold.
