How LOW do you think GP price will go to?

As the title says, i just want to see what your guys opinion are on this? i think with rate of massive goldfarmers and botters on RS and the amount of GP coming through by people who glitch while staking and other stuff. Looks like Gp will be going as low as 20-30c a mill in a few months time, so what's your opinion on this?

 

Don't think it will go much lower. Been stable a while.

 

In 3 months time gold farmers will be paying us to take the gold. Blee dat.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the price of GP kept falling. When I quit RS over 5 years ago, I think the price of gold at the time was something like $5-$7? p/m? I come back 3 months ago and gold is roughly 50cents per mil! It also feels like there is more gold than ever in the game these days.

With the amount of people goldfarming, and all the factories and companies being set up to get a slice of the pie, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the price of gold fell even more.

 

@Gearmo, it's true it has been a little stable but if u go in selling section, you always see the big sellers dropiing by 1-2cents every week or 2 and it gradually keeps on getting lower plus there are so many GP sellers now days so they all keep competing for lower prices.

 

I hope it goes super low to like 30 cents a mil. Lower would be even better for me.
I agree that it's been pretty stable though.

 

@zerk exactly what my point was, it hasn't even been that long since free trade came out and look at the price, its dirt cheap! plus there are more and more bots being brought in the game each day, and massive amount of GP being pumped, hardly any legit players now days.

 

In a year 30c /M (Average selling price)

15-20c / M (Buying price)

 

I hope bots get removed and it stabilizes around $0.50+/m

I think that it will drop 3 cents every month or so

 

The price took a decrease actually by about .02-.03/M this last week.

 

There would be no point selling mills for 15-20c per mill :/

It would almost be a waste of time to "farm" gold hahaha

 

If the price of GP ever went as low as like 5 cents per mil, how much would you buy?? I think I would have to buy atleast a few bil I would use alot of it ingame for my characters, but might even toss some on a few mules to sit in hopes that the price would rise again. 5c/m would be awesome!

I HIGHLY doubt that gold will ever be that cheap though. It wouldn't even be worth the time to goldfarm anymore really, unless you could make tens/hundreds of millions per day.

I think all the large sellers should raise prices to .6/M.
So it stabilizes.

OT: I am positive that the price of RSGP will not fall below $0.30 per mill in a few months as you've suggested.

It will fall however time will tell.

 

100% agreed if people stay firm with the prices it will stay same prices.
