Never played minecraft before? Look here!

Basically minecraft is a unique game that pushes you to be creative, smart, and instinctive by using your environment and the things in it to survive in the minecraft world.

Everything is made up of different types of blocks that can be broken and place elsewhere in the world. These blocks can be replaced in other spots or in some cases, broken down (or melted down) into raw materials.

Raw materials are the most important part of the "craft" in minecraft. In your inventory you have a 2x2 crafting station that can be used to create some recipes (recipes include everything from Shovels, to wood planks, to torches, to food, or armor). If you want to start getting into some of the more important aspects you will need to create a crafting table, which gives you a 3x3 station to work with.

The possibilities in minecraft are endless, you can create anything you can think of. The more time you spend in the game the more you learn. While you survive and prosper in the minecraft world, you will soon find that you have lost a few hours in the game without feeling 5 minutes pass. I implore you to try this game out!

Now you say, what if I don't have the game? Well you have multiple options.

~ Purchase the game from the minecraft website for about $20.

~ Play the free, classic minecraft, which does not have the survival and certain other aspects of the beta, but is fun to mess around with for a while.

~ Ask a friend if you can borrow his account and try out the game.

~ Purchase a cheap minecraft account here on sythe (just be careful because most of the sellers, sell cracked or hacked accounts).

Another good reason to buy the game is because it is still in beta. The full version is set to release in November, so get the game now while it is only $20. Once it has been fully released it could cost twice as much, or even more. Get it now while its still cheap, 3.6 million other people have!

Could you post some screenies? I've been hearing from this game alot, recently so I may give it a try.

 

It's a very good game, basically you have to make a whole kingdom out of bricks wood fire, ect it's very god game, i'm selling my account for 10£GP it's 13.99£ to buy new.

 

I will be making a tutorial video soon on how to survive the first day in minecraft, you will be able to see what it looks like inside the world and such. I will try to have it done by tomorrow

Yes, buy it now before it hits full price. It's great fun, and you'll be addicted within a few minutes.

That video is the best, I went to that when I first got Minecraft. It's a pity he hasn't done it for 1.9 and so on.

 

Tons of people ask me what Minecraft is at school. Not that they come on Sythe, but this guide pretty much sums it up.

When did you all start playing? I started in early Alpha

 

Beginning of summer, so around July for me. It was at Beta 1.7.3, the version where Minecraft was at it's prime.

Wow, this is great, i've played the game plenty of times before on 360, I've had it for around 7 months now but this is still a great explanation and if I'd been shown this prior to me playing MC i'd have been a lot less confused...
