Finding out the original name of an Account.

Well I just got back into RS and I had this account about 2 Years ago its and Ok account but I dont remember the original name of the account?

 

I don't believe there is a username recovery system.

 

Try to look anywhere you may have posted old screen shots or anything like that?

There isn't a way through Jagex really, check old emails from them maybe but I don't know if they did that so much 2 years ago like they do now.

 

Yeah I check my emails I found 1 thing but no name -.-

and nah I didnt take RS that serious and I was like 12

 

Usually, if you've forgotten your username, your account is lost. I lost my really old pure (or I think it was a pure...) account that I made back in 2004 because I forgot the username. Despite my efforts to try to get it back, I could not.

 

I'm trying to Remember the orignal name -.- its really annoying

 

Yeah, I remember way back when I had a variation of the multispaced O_W_N____E_D but I can't remember the exact spacing, or the password I used back then...I've tried soooo many times it's not even funny lol

 

Another thing I do to remember old names, is look on other old accounts that may have been associated with it and check their friend's lists, my brother and I both played so we usually had each others accounts added. I don't know if this will pertain to your situation but trying to brainstorm ideas to help you, it's not an easy situation.

Wow that account would be worth like HEAPS But it sucks to hear your loss.

 

This is an interesting question that I have also been curious about.. in the case of a scammer or somebody with a tarnished reputation, this could be a good way to literally "make a new name for yourself". It's kind of BS in some ways.

 

It's up to you to remember it. Answered.

I also have a few old accounts that I wish I could remember the name on. Too bad.
