    why the fuck is 1.8 so laggy?
    like before it wasnt laggy now it is does this happen to you? i have a 4gb ram and my cpu is very clean help

    Try 1.9, is that laggy? They did change a lot of stuff in 1.8. I get no lag no matter what version I'm running.

    i got lag during the beta version of 1.8, and thats probably hat you're using. either that, or you are not playing the legit version.

    I have not experienced any new lag with 1.8. Are you sure its not your computer?

    Your version of Java may be outdated or corrupt. Try to delete all files concerning minecraft (don't forget the ones found in %appdata%) and Java, and redownload the latest version of Java, then redownload Minecraft...

    If that doesn't work, it could be that your graphics card can't take the stress which minecraft puts on it.. if this is the case, turn the Performance option to "power saver", turn off Smooth Lighting, and switch "graphics" to "fast"
