I "found" an account

I got the answers that I was looking for when I created this thread. The account was most likely "given' to me so I would put membership or wealth on it so the original owner could recover it from me after doing so.

I am just going to leave the account alone to avoid causing any trouble, or getting in any myself. This thread can be closed now

 

Get it banned.

Don't sell it because if it does get recoved then it is on your head.

 

If I made that very clear in the terms of sale that the account will definitely be recovered at some point, would that clear me of any blame though? I definitely do not want anybody to transfer their items to the account and lose their stuff, I just thought maybe somebody else out there could use it for suicide botting or making cash or something along those lines.

I have VERY little experience botting myself, and so the profits I could make from it would probably be less than somebody more experienced who knows exactly what to bot and how to do it, and has a few paid scripts.

 

I hope the both of you are banned. i've reported this thread, you should have just left the account alone.

What are you butthurt about? There is nothing wrong with this thread, the guy is trying to scam him out of some mems.

 

Well even if you put that in the ToS it could be recovered sometime, why would anyone want to buy it?

 

Don't sell it, that would essentially be scamming. I don't think suiciding it would yield much gp for you, but thats probably your best bet.

where does it say that? you should'nt have done anything with the account, just left it and moved on.

If this thread is breaking ANY rules at all then please remove it. I DID NOT SCAM ANYBODY TO GET THIS ACCOUNT. The guy clearly left the user and pass there so that I would transfer my items onto the account and he could then recover the account and scam me. I am just wondering what to do with the account, if anything at all.

 

Think you are honestly retarded, if you don't know this trick by now you might as well just leave these forums. They drop you a pass and username for free, you put mems on the awesome account, they recov with free mems. Now you can feel free to leave this thread and never talk to me again.

 

No Dave, it is not STEALING an account. The guy messaged me his username and password for no reason! He obviously wanted me or the other guy in the chat to put our items on the account so he could recover and SCAM me or him. All I am doing is asking prospective questions here. I do not want to scam anybody or cause any harm whatsoever.

What would you do if some jackass over skype sent you his username and pass for no reason? BTW the account he sent the username and password for, is not the same account that he was using to dungeoneer with me. It is a total seperate account that has no membs, is f2p, had had nobody log in for over 2 weeks, and he clearly intends to scam ME or the other guy in the Skype chat by recovering the account after we put wealth on it. I don't know why you are getting all bent out of shape over this as I have done nothing wrong, and I certainly did not intend to.

 

This thread is turning into a flame war against Dave and should just be closed. Can a Mod please lock this down? I wish I had just kept this to myself and hadn't even made a thread about it.

I doubt I will even use the account after all this fucking bullshit. I will probably just give it away to a friend or leave it alone. I can't see anything good coming out of it except maybe a few hours of botted goldfarming, before it gets recovered or banned.

 

Honestly? I would have removed him from skype and forgotten about him, i wouldn't have even logged on the account, why would i endanger my own business of getting my accounts chain banned from account hijacking lol.
