need some assistance

Waddup guys, im going to a party tonight and i was asked to make the playlist so we can dance. just wanted some ideas of songs you guys would recommend.

looking for mainstream and underground house jams

but depends on the crowd.
do you know your crowd?
what they want?

ex) mainstream/underground, genre

 

i mean deadmau5 is obvious, theyre a crowd that hasnt heard a lot of house/dubstep music so it would be cool to show them some sick ass songs to get into

 

Look up some happy hardcore remixes if you want to change things up from typical top 40.

DJ Ravine has some good ones.

Chris Lake has some good house beats that are fun to dance to, I've been bumping Adam K & Soha mixes straight off of Youtube lately. Deadmau5 is always a great bet of course.

It really depends on the crowd though. You could bump some great music and be totally shot down if the crowd isn't very open minded about new types of music. If they are more of a "top 40" radio kind of crowd, try looking for Dubstep remixes of really mainstream popular songs on Youtube. Then use an mp3 converter to convert them from videos to mp3 files, pop on the Ipod and your set Good luck man, pleasing a party crowd can be quite hard some times!

 

I only think you'll find him on youtube and possibly soundcloud.

You actually just reminded me of a great mix I have by a guy called "Chew Fu". He played at a local club near me one time and the event on facebook posted a mix called "The Chew Hefner Affair". The mix is fantastic and contains all big top 40 hits like Drake, Lady Gaga, stuff like that (I don't really listen to that kind of stuff but its all stuff you have heard before) and its all remixed over his own beats. Great dance stuff, see if you can find it somewhere online like Souncloud or Myspace?

Just google Chew Fu "The Chew Heffner Affair" and see what comes up. Good luck! You can keep that mix bumping for well over an hour and everyone should just eat it up.

 

Dubstep is your best bet and other well known good songs that most people enjoy.

 

Look though reggueton like daddy yankee,don omar,wisin y yandel then electronic as david guetta,david tavare,wiz califa and mysteryland music
