Hacked - Perfect figher or Nexus?

I recently started playing again and since I don't have much time to play I decided to get back into one of my old hobbies, botting. I've never had an issue with getting my account hacked before, I keep my computer and account safe, but somehow after 4 days of playing, I was hacked. The only thing I can thing of I've added that might have caused this was nexus or my perfect fighter script...

I entered in my log in information, assuming it was a safe script (Since it was recommended in a sythe sticky). I'm not sure if I should point the finger at the bot, or something else...

Has anyone else had this problem?

 

I doubt they would've targeted YOU when they have people who bot with a lot of wealth on their accounts.

I know you'll probably say no but did you do any of the following stuff below?:
-Click a fishy link
-Enter your password somewhere else besides the Runescape site
-Download some sort of program off of a You Tube video link
-Download anything/torrent/accept a file over MSN

 

Nexus and Perfect Fighter didn't hack you, if you have your data entered into nexus and you got a virus then the virus could have taken that data.

Just run a pc scan with Anti-Malware Bytes and see if you have anything on your computer.

 

It's very unlikely that NeXuS or Perfect Fighter hack you.

You may have downloaded something that was infected and they got into the files to steal your account information.

By any chance did you fall for a pesky spam email saying your account got banned, etc.? That could have also been it.

Hacking happens to the best of us, you just gotta rebuild.

 

I didn't think it was the bot, I thought I'd ask though. I know both are pretty respectable. It just seems odd since really all I've done the passed 4 days was bot, the only time I touched any of my computers was to check up on my bots.

I'm pretty sure it was a keylogger. How I got it, I don't know. I don't check email on my computers (I check it all on my phone), I don't visit runescape "fansites" other than sythe, and I have avast! fully updated.

I did a full system restore yesterday , I know thats the only certain way to get rid of a keylogger.

As for wealth... They got around 80M from me, luckily they couldn't touch my bank.

 

Can you answer a few questions:

Have you ever (meaning that you have done this since a reformat):

1. Used another blotting client? If so which ones?
2. Downloaded/Run anything from youtube/email which 'says' it generates/makes free auths? If so where from?
3. Name all nexus authcode products you have run.

Please go back to your last full windows install.

I say that (and not virus scan) as virus scans are not 100% and as such the only 100% way to get rid of virsuses is to do a full windows reinstall.

 

Nexus DID NOT hack you. You either had a keylogger or it was some other botting software.

 

invest in a good anti virus. nothing but the best when dealing with these types of things. but it was for sure not the bot that hacked you

 

It's unlikely Nexus/Perfect Fighter hacked you. Run a few Virus scans.

 

You most likely attempted a YouTube download, the NeXuS creators have a lot more wealth then just some measly 50M hacks. Your computers most likely keylogged, open up your processes and take a picture if possible. I'll most likely be able to find it.
