How's your life going?

Great, I got my hair cut recently, so that sucks... In all honesty I can't wait for next year (grade 12). It's when the subjects I take become interesting, and relevant, and, after which I'm on a linear pathway to an ATAR that's in the high 90's, which is great for University. So in short, the only way my life could get better is if I won the lottery.

 

I'm on my two week mid-semester University break at the moment which marks a really huge amount of relief for me... running up to my break I was sleeping about 1-2 hours each night trying to get my assignments in on time, and I really was not doing well health-wise. I had a really really nice girlfriend as of about a month ago, and things were going amazing until things in her own life meant that calling off a relationship and parting ways was for the best. I've recently stumbled across a new girl who I have begun to go surfing with a lot, and she's super cool; we're hanging out a fair bit, have kissed, but I guess I'll see where it takes me

In a nutshell life is okay, there aren't many high points at the moment, but the medication I've been on for the past 2 or 3 months makes my life quite flat...
I do miss a lot of my older friends here quite a lot, but things aren't really the same any more, and I can't really see myself coming back. A lot of people I know and was fond of have disappeared or been deleted/banned which makes me sad

 

I know the feeling about the hair. I recently cut my hair and butchered it D: (first time of failing though). Personally I'm taking a break from grade 12 next year and being part of a game design team, then probably doing correspondence courses in '13

 

Going fine, finally getting somewhere with cmh and work is just ducky.

 

At the end of last year i stopped playing RS, quit WoW, stopped the occasional smoke before it got bad. Im 19 at the end of this year. second year out of high school

Lifes good,

working in IT, living with my high School GF (been together 3 years :O). we live in the city but we have family and friends up the coast near the beach. Car just broke down but it was a 2000 Daewoo lanos >.> so ill be buying a new car which im excited about.

and i get 2 weeks holidays after tomorrow!

Life is going alright i suppose. School is decent, not the best atm, but meh.

 

Uhh. 3 weeks untill I'm done with school forever. In some ways I'm sad that my childhood is coming to an end, in other ways I'm happy to be finally moving on. I have many decisions to make soon in regards to my future, as well as a stack of assignments due.

 

Good, got myself a decent job had alot of luck staking today i hope my lifes could be this fun all the time

 

Pretty happy & stressed at the moment.

Currently on the best paid contract I've been on in the 3 and half years I've done welding inspection.

Getting paid £250+ GBP per day, only working between 4-7 hours per day.

Stressed because I'm having to support my girlfriend at home, and living away when I won't see any of the benefits for my work until the 30th of this month (paid four weekly) .. and struggling basically

 

I thought I'd let everyone know that I'm in a bloody good space atm! Just found out I'm getting in iPad for my birthday (15 days)

 

Fine I guess, besides being lonely and depressed at times.

 

After struggling for the last few years being addicted to drugs and completely lost and hopeless, I have just recently moved back in with my parents as of June, cleaned up, and started getting parts of my life back. I am now in school again, involved in a full-time recovery program, re-connecting with my family once again, starting to do some of the old things I used to love to do again.

Right now, everyday is a struggle for me. But at the moment my life is brighter than it has been in years, and I am actually feeling very happy and optimistic about regaining the prospect of a future. Not to mention I have been back on RS since I moved back in with Mom&Dad$ my brothers, for the first time since 2005 It feels good to say that right now, my life is good

Errr, a little stressed out. 1 more semester that counts.....then I'm unofficially done with high school! Other than that, I've been pretty happy lately. My cousins are coming tonight, so that's exciting......I've also started taking an interest in someone; hopefully they like me back, wish me luck!

 

As one would expect (the being stressed) but hey, I'm envious! What are you planning on doing with your cousins? Good luck with that person haha, I'm sure it'll turn out fine, if it doesn't throw me a PM and I can give you some advice I'm pretty good with that sort of thing.

Story of my life

 

My car just broke down, spending $6k to fix it, on top of the money I just spent to purchase it. And it's my senior year in high school and I'm already falling behind.

 

Thanks bro! It wasn't easy man, and I won't lie - it wasn't voluntary at the time either. I nearly lost my life and the friend I was with passed away too and so I was forced into detox when my parents rescued me (I was homeless). Anyways, that is not the point at all. I am doing better now and I am just happy to shout it out to the world in this thread

Btw, really cool idea for a thread topic I keep coming back to this thread to skim back over old pages and read what is going on in everybodies life. Really interesting stuff

Thanks, I thought so too I made this thread when I first joined, so I could learn more about the people of sythe and get to know some of their life stories/what their lives are like now!

 

Why not just buy another one?
there are plenty in good shape available for less than $6k
