- Betting Section -

I don't think this is the real problem, you can just use on of the many MMs on the site. There is no need for them to be an OMM. I think there needs to be rules set in place for gambling first.

 

I think that's why you have to evaluate the trust of whoever makes the thread. I've paid out losses of 100m to games from the IRC.

 

wouldn't take long at all to inforce a few rules.

 

We just need to suggest the rules before the section is set up.

 

I'm sure a moderator will do the rules as they should be

 

i like the idea could deffinitly be evolved into sports team betting people offering there own odd's - of course a MM or OMM or someone u deem trusted enough to hold the gp wager etc as most online games such as ya pool and stuff all have bot's to play it for you....

I support, I have seen people on IRC betting, I've also been asked on msn once or twice, so there see people out there that will use the section.

However I don't support you saying "Thanks for the support" every time someone supports your suggestion.

No support, however, purely because of activity. I don't believe the activity it would garner would warrant a sub-section. In saying that, should such activity exist I would gladly support.

 

I do support, however it would require a hell of alot of work from Admins/MODs to get rules and regulations written up, and on top of that, who will hold the wagers because im pretty sure MM's Mods and Admins have a hell of alot on their plate just now without having to worry about betting etc UNLESS they got a % of course

 

I've been having no problem with people trusting me with bets or me paying them out. MMs won't be needed for every bet that involves a trusted user.


That said, I'm not really sure if a whole section is needed. Right now, I have 3 threads that will cover just about anything anyone can want to bet on and I receive PMs from people for the few other things there are to bet on as well.
