Effigies

After botting Abyssal demons for over a month I have amassed nearly 60 effigies.

My question is; Should I use the Dragonkin lamps to go from 89-93 Summoning or 89-93 Slayer? I am maxed in every skill but slayer, summoning and dungeoneering so the other skills are irrelevant.

 

Slayer, It's a hell of a lot more time consuming than summoning.

Slayer makes money, Summoning looses money

 

If you actually take the time to calculate which is more efficient, you'll find that it's Slayer. Slayer is also a lot slower to bot.

Now for slayer and summoning. If u get slayer up, you have a less chance to make money from drops etc(if you care about money). But if u get summoning up, then u save money by not spending on it. + u make money off slayer. so if i were in your place.. i would level up summoning.

go with slayer, it's a lot harder to train and bot that.

Yeah, but if you don't want to lose money and collect charms, then doing summoning would be better because slayer can make you money.

 

Slayer for sure, just collect charms for summoning.

I'd say slayer, because summoning is pretty fast when bursting and with your stats im going to guess 100m isn't that much for you.

Also, may i ask, how many whips did you gather?

 

Depends, if you're going for wealth; Summoning
But if you're trying to get everything done faster; Slayer.

 

Before you make your choice, you should take into consideration how much cash you have to spend on your skills anyways. Summoning is rather expensive, and so if you don't have much cash then it might be smart to use the lamps to get to 93 sum do you can do slayer manually and make cash along the way. If you have lots of cash at your disposal and you are more concerned with the amount of time it takes to complete things, then you should put the EXP into slayer in order to save you many hours of mind numbing tasks.

Also, what is the best way to turn your effigies into Dragonkin lamps? I know this does not apply to you because you are already maxed in all skills, but I have never used one yet myself and don't know much about them. When I did some reading on rune wiki it said you can get players to assist you with the required skills, and I noticed whenever I am dungeoneering on W117 there is a ton of people near the bank who sell skill assists. Do you just take all your lamps there and find people to assist for free? or is there a better place to go such as a CC that offers free assists? I have maybe 9 or 10 effigies in the bank and after reading about Dragonkin lamps I am interested in using them.

 

slayer, gets you money and is a HARD 99

 

Summoning, only 3 more levels after that and u'll have a pack yak which will help you SO much.

Slayer.. 93.. woohoo, u'll still be campin abby demons with 85, so no point really.

 

slayer for sure, bot waterfiends for summoning, and idungpro for dung.
