Help me build my first computer!

    Hello guys,
Finally getting round to getting myself a BASIC desktop as I have been using this shitty laptop since I sold my old PC 2 years ago (that a friend made for me)

I have a friend assisting me in the build so I don't mess anything up but am wondering if this PC is ok??

    http://orders.ebuyer.com/customer/shopping/index.html?rb=0&action=c2hvd19jYXJ0

I only really play League of Legends and bot a bit on runescape (1-2 accounts top) I want to be able to play Battlefield and CoD on low to mid graphics when the new ones come out. I also play football manager but that can run on ANY computer. If you think I could save a bit of money, please let me know what part to replace with what. If you think an extra £5-10 for one part will make a big diffrence let me know.

Ideally I would like to spend around £300 for it all.

    Thanks

    Complete shit tbh.

Just save up more money, that computer will be outdated in a year.

18.5" monitor is tiny. 440 is shit, that processor is OLD.

Save up more, don't go cheap cos you'll spend more in the long run building a new one.

I want a basic computer to do basic stuff with. I have a child on the way soon so don't have the funds to put money into a computer. We just need a reliable desktop for our house that I can occasionally play games on.

I don't see this PC even maxing out WoW honestly. If you already have a PC that does what you need it to do, just wait until you can save up more money. This probably won't play CODMW3 well if at all, and I know for a fact it won't play Battlefield 3 when it comes out. With this budget you'd have a more enjoyable gaming experience on a console.

Thanks for useful input ivy. I don't want to max out games, I want to play League of Legends mainly at low graphics setting. (getting approx 30fps) I already own an Xbox but really miss playing LoL. My current laptop has the most useless integrated graphics card at te moment. I will probably just buy BF3 on the xbox to be honest.

It still seems like a waste of money because you're buying like 5 year old hardware. If you really just can't wait to save more money up then go for it but I would suggest just waiting until you can build a more respectable machine. Otherwise you're just going to wind up having to rebuild not long from now when your needs eventually go up (trust me, they will) which will cost you more in the end.
