    Report a Ban Evader section?

We need a moderator position for this and the members would PM that moderator and he would check.

We do not need trollers, post colecctors in such section. Because it would not be nice in some peoples view.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

Not really a ban evader report is quicker to ban than a thread is to lock... 1 mod even the new one could easily zip through it with ease, most of them are just compare emails/ content/ ip and ban. The same rules as RaS would apply where only mods + op could post.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

Well they should do all that with the same ease in the RaSc section anyways, creating this section would make mods give less attention to RaSc because they will just breeze through the vader section and think they are done for the day. (no offense to mods).

    Report a Ban Evader section?

Support, it would help to see actual scam reports from the ban evaders.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

I support this. I just think that there should be a section for things like fake vouches, evaders, etc.

Reason being, I think that if somebody's trying to trade with somebody and wants to be secure about it by checking the rasc section, they should be able to do it as easily as possible.

What do you mean by that statement?

And I don't think that fake vouches and evaders should be put in a separate section because in truth they should all be given the same attention by staff. And I feel that if they were separated that would not happen.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

These threads are always gone through first anyways even though they are in RaSc but sometimes a few get missed because of the clutter, if there is more clutter there is less motivation to go through the rest, whereas simply taking 5 minutes to handle one section then spending 10-15 mins to do a few RaSc would greatly improve efficiency, sure its free mod logs I guess but normally once these members see their name in RaSc they try scamming as much as they can before the ban, and if this ban takes 2 days, imagine how much a well trusted member can scam.

A sectional mod can easily handle these reports while Globals/ admins focus on RaSc since majority of the time they know more about handling scam cases than most sectionals.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

My sentiments exactly. Only way this would work is to have a mod solely for vader reports.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

This is my point exactly, the other reports should not be considered "clutter". A vader report and a scammer report should be given the same attention.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

What I mean is, if somebody's about to trade with somebody and do a background check by looking for threads in the rasc, they shouldn't have to look through numerous pages. They should just be able to just go in the section and find it easily, instead of wasting of unneeded time going through all of the pages.

Also, it wouldn't take any extra of the staff's time. Of course vaders and fake vouches are important to deal with, but I think people getting scammed is more important. It'd also really help get rid of the scammers faster. I think getting rid of scammers is way much more important than banning vaders. Scammers generally harm the site more than vaders. Only way vaders harm more is if their scamming, which they'd go into the other section anyways.

Reason I say that scammers are more harm is because people losing life savings is a much bigger deal as opposed to ban evading. Atleast it is to me.

Edit: I suppose the point I'm trying to make is just a report a scammer section for only actual scammers.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

Honestly if it takes 2 minutes to find a ban evader it should take 2 minutes at most to ban them, there's no need for a mod as I stated above a market mod even one who knows nothing about the market could easily handle a section like this in their spare time. Any of the staff could complete this section even if its 5 pages of legitimate reports with proof etc. in about 30 minutes at most since most ban evader reports are based off email comparison its easy to view and match, obviously some where it has to be proven where email/ picture matching isn't available would take a bit longer and a global such as FireZ could handle it.

Edit: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=9675733#post9675733 no real reason to have a separate mod just for handling reports like that. Took 2 minutes to find and will take a mod 30 seconds to ban once it gets looked at

    Report a Ban Evader section?

Some moderators do only do ban evader reports (such as me back in my global days). It really does not matter as you can just search for "evader" and get most of the threads right there, but a section might not hurt.

It's not that hard to search for a evader.
    It's not a big deal.

    Report a Ban Evader section?

I think this would help out a lot of inexperienced sectionals do reports without having to tackle a tricky case on their first try. I'd like to see a sub-section implemented. My only concern with messing with RaSc is that it is already complicated enough; however, I don't see this being too daunting to the average user.

I mainly like the fact that the section will be more organized, ban evaders aren't necessarily scammers either.
