K-Pop

K-Pop (Korean music) has spread all over Asia. The Korean boy band TVXQ holds the world record for having the largest numbers of fans (on the internet) and Korean music are hitting the charts in various Asian countries.

Most recently, they have started to get popular in Europe, where it got to a point where people had riots for another k-pop concert, without the violence.

It's only a matter of time before it gets widespread in the United States, also.

What do you guys think of K-Pop, and if you do know any, what are your favorite songs?

 

I dont know of any but i've heard its not bad, I'm suprised that band holds a record

I don't really like K-POP, a friend of mine doees and she told me to listen to some, I saw the video, and I just found it sexy, but didn't like the music :S

Exactly.
There are some nice songs, but it's all commercial and lacks variety.
Maybe there are many bands/artists that hit the charts, but all their songs are by the same composers.

Plus, no originality

 

I don't really dislike, but i do have afew songs on my iPhone.

I think its just more background news for me, i listen to most of my music during class when we're doing work, so i use it to tune out everything else, since i dont understand what they're saying for the most part, it doesn't take any of my attention away from what I'm doing.

Other than background noise and attractive asian girls in the videos, not really an appeal to me.

 

I lived in Korea for 6 years and I can tell you it gets so fucking annoying so fast. It's always the same shit... but all of them can't get enough of it.
