    The end of Facebook?

Since Google have released Google+, Facebook has went under quite a fair few updates and you will have noticed them if you use it, they're almost trying to "copy" Google+ with the whole groups idea. Do you think Google+ will replace Facebook, will people start using it rather than Facebook?

    Thoughts would be nice :)

Not really. Google+ isn't really competing with Facebook. However, Facebook is competing with Google+ and every other social media website.

    The end of Facebook?

Yeah basically summed it up perfectly.

Google+ isn't trying to compete with facebook, they're trying to do something a little different. They want create sort of a single identity for everything.

(I can't really describe it well, you'd have to find some blog posts on it)

No this is completely off track, since the recent facebook updates that have worsened the site.

My friends and I have all moved to Tw1tter honestly, Google+ is a failed attempt at a social networking site.

    Tw1tter is where it's at.

    The end of Facebook?

I rathe stay on Facebook. I don't think much people will move from Facebook to Google+ because lot of them just too lazy to register and don't want to add friends again because they have too many.

I hope. I wish people would stop using them all together. Ever been with someone in real life that sits on facebook on their phone allll dayyy? it sucks. It's obsessive.

    The end of Facebook?

I don't really see why Facebook sees the need to change it's layout almost every day. I haven't tried Google+ yet but it's had ok reviews.

    The end of Facebook?

I heard two women discussing this same topic when I was eating at a restaurant yesterday. They were talking about how they feel facebook has taken advantage of their privacy and discussing the not so needed email every time a person comments on your wall, tags you, etc. They got on the subject of Google+ and it seems as if things could be headed this way for facebook.

I personally have never registered a facebook for the very reason of all the privacy issues. If Google+ can get the privacy issues down and make me feel secure using their website, I would definitely give them a shot. But facebook, never.

    The end of Facebook?

You can't look at how fast the amount of users on G+ increase as any indication of whether they will be successful.

    The end of Facebook?

True, but the one basic thing that makes people stay at a social networking site is whether they can find their friends, so the more people who register, the more likely your friends will have also. From there, it snowballs with good features, fun games, effective communication, easy to use portable versions, etc into a very successful social network.

But you can't have a social networking site that doesn't have users
