Nice PC specs, Only able to run 1 bot?

It's running windows Vista 64bit, however i am in the process of trying to get it upgraded to W7.



I get around 16-18 Fps running one rsbuddy bot, when i try to open another one the fps drops to 0-2 on the second bot but the first one still reamins to keep 16-18 fps.

It's like wtf? i should be able to run 5 bots no problem with that setup :/

 

Could just be vista.

 

Open your task manager, click performance and take a screen shot of that and post it.

 

i wouldnt call those exactly nice specs...

This is interesting, I'll look for a fix online but you should be able to run more bots. And your first one should be running at atleast 50 fps. Is your java screwed up?

 

Get rid of Vista for starters. That was Microsoft's "hiccup." Try a later version of Microsoft and that might fix your problem.

 

Chilledbeers - you are an idiot. You don't need that much RAM to run bots.. 6-8GB of RAM is enough to max out a 6-core CPU so stfu.. nobody cares about your specs. The OP's is more than sufficient to run shitloads of bots.

Anyway, I think I might know your problem. Make sure the power saving option is turned off (it limits CPU performance).. Also check if there is any CPU throttling activated in the BIOS. I don't know about Intel but my AMD Phenom x6 had Cool n Quiet technology which throttled the CPU.

I'd imagine Intel has something similar.. check it out.

Also, W7 is a piece of shit aswell.. I get BSOD's everyday. I'm considering switching to Vista or Linux.

 

Another thing I've just remembered - RsBuddy lags with multiple tabs open. Usually 2 tabs is OK but anymore and performance is hindered.

You can either open a new RSbuddy client or try setting the java.w priority to high in task manager.

his pc just sucks. idc what any1 says, the specs arent nice at all.

 

Another suggestion, try to OC your GHz... that's incredibly low for that system, you should be looking @ 3.20GHz or even possibly @ 3.40GHz
