Email from PayPal

Just got email from PayPal:



So I wonder is this because I have sold Rsgp to other people or because I have recieved money from Palyer Auctions?
Do I have to upgrade to business account if I keep using player auctions or is it ok if I don't use direct paypal for selling rsgp to other people? Anyone knows business account fees? Alot higher?

 

idk that is super wierd, how much do you spend llike weekly?

 

I don't buy, only sell with PP

 

Seems like a fake email to me. i will update my post after looking around

 

I haven't come across an email like this before.. My initial guess would be that its a fake.

 

Why would it be fake?
There's no phishing links.

 

Googled the email, and it seems real. Would suggest you cash out your money off paypal cause i read some angry feedbacks regarding that email.

 

Lol, link? Yes, it's real, they called me also, but I was sleeping, good thing I didn't anser, have no idea what to tell them

 

It's a real mail.
It has nothing to do with PA.
It's because you have sent/received to much gifts.

Keep using PA only and you're safe.
Keep sending/receiving gifts all day long and you'll lose the personal options or get limited.

 

No bullshit, this may be an email thats going out to all users that recieve numerous gift payments. I say that is cause that was one of the bullshit excuses they tried giving me the other when I was on the phone arguing with a couple of thier script reading "specialist" or "supervisors" said. They said thats been thier policy for over a year now.

Thats when I replied with thats bullshit because. "#1 no notices ever went out stating a change in policy & #2 that in fighting previous disputes/claims I was upfront & foward with what my payments were coming & when I did, your so called specialist told me ways to better protect myself, not anything about its against PP policy to collect as gift for virtual services or sales". After saying these 2 things there was a good 5 second silence & then me saying ya thats what I thought.

No Bs im actually getting all my Paypal/Ebay information together & waiting for an Aunt to get hers together that told me after telling her this story myself & how I thought paypal was doing and what a scam company they are. That she had bought an item off ebay & returned the item, cause it wasnt what she thought it was. Wich according to ebay policy, if any buyer requests a return, it has to be honored, so long as its sent back within 7 days of requesting a return. I know this myself, having sold an item on ebay & clicked the no returns accepted option when posting it. Only to be disputed cause some guy didnt read the description at that point, I was sent an email where ebay found the case in my favor saying I did describe the item accurately & still made me refund his money. Anyways she returned her item only to never be refunded.

If this is an email thats going out to everyone & or you have recently had your account limited/lost any disputes/claims to unverified or verified accounts or any $ from paypal please let me know or be sure to look for the thread I will be making in order to get "user statements" as well as possibly get a couple people that have lost big $ due to chargebacks involved to get thier $ back as well as compensation possibly.

Then I will be taking all information to a lawyer that ive already talked to briefly & said bring him mine & my aunts info along with printed copies of both paypal & ebay user policies & that will be enough for him to start working it all.

Also heres the Post i made of report a scammer wich led to my account being limited sadly. The guy still hasnt been banned =\. In my opinion, doesnt say much about moderators here other then, not gonna do much for ya unless your thier friend. Or they are some of the scammers themselfs.

Thanks for info, made 700$ withdraw yesterday and got limited, provided documents and they removed limitation in ~4 hours. Today made 700$ withdraw again, and now this
But thanks not going to use direct PP anymore ^_^

 

It is a real email and they sent it because you accepting payments as gift.

 

Paypal sucks if you don't stop they will "limit" your account.
