Remove 20 seconds before searching

It's not long to wait at all, just search for something and look at your results for 20 seconds.

 

If it didn't crash the site, I'd support it.

 

I will have to disagree. 20 seconds is enough... plus there ware way to search stuff and read your own threads etc... maybe subscriptions? There are ways around it. I barely use it.

And it could be used to slow down servers, etc.

 

You crack me up man. :laugh: I guess from what I'm reading about people crashing Sythe I don't give support, anymore. >_<

 

In other websites such as PowerBot and RSBuddy, there is no 20 second wait before searching, but in this website, there is.

20 seconds is not that long, just switch tab.
Waiting 20 seconds is better than having Sythe crash.

 

I've got to agree 20 sec is fine for me, prefer to wait 20 sec than a couple of days if sythe crashes

Why is this not locked? The 20 second limit is clearly never going to be removed so why do you people still post to this?

 

Yea, when i was looking up someone it took me around 5-10 minutes because i kept spelling their name wrong and when i got it right i backclicked. >.<

I understand how terribly DISTRESSING it must be to have to wait 20 whole seconds before you can search, but we really cannot afford to remove the wait or even lower it. That is, unless you're happy to deal with the site being offline for hours at a time.
